THE former wife of a United States congressman has announced she is to stand against him in the next election - so voters can learn "who he really is". Following a bitter divorce from her husband, Charles Gonzalez, Becky Whetstone has filed papers stating that she is to run for Congress in San Antonio as an independent, in the hope of taking the 20th district seat from her ex-husband, a Democrat.
