US politician's ex-wife standing against her man!(Rep. Charles Gonzalez (D) - Revenge Alert!)

THE former wife of a United States congressman has announced she is to stand against him in the next election - so voters can learn "who he really is".

Following a bitter divorce from her husband, Charles Gonzalez, Becky Whetstone has filed papers stating that she is to run for Congress in San Antonio as an independent, in the hope of taking the 20th district seat from her ex-husband, a Democrat.

Ms Whetstone said: "I believe the district doesn’t know Charlie very well, and once they learn who he really is, they will not want him to represent their interests in Washington DC, or as a role model for their children." She said she was "absolutely not" seeking revenge.

Mr Gonzalez brushed off his ex-wife’s candidacy as a stunt.

Becky has her own website now. After 4 years of marriage she divorced the spawn of Henry and Bertha Gonzalez. Big daddy Henry (also known as Jabba el hefe) was the sweetheart Democratic congressman trying so hard to impeach Reagan. It seems to me they are also going to learn a lot about you, Ms. Whetstone and as the voter do so, they will also not want you to represent their interests.

He just might win with the sympathy vote if she keeps this up. They are both scary. She doesn't deserve to win because she is using this as a "get back as my husband platform". In reality neither one deserves to win.
