A man was arrested Thursday and charged with a hate crime for allegedly slapping a Hasidic man who was walking in Williamsburg, cops said. Carrington Maddox, 31, was charged with aggravated harassment as a hate crime and menacing for attacking a 27-year-old man dressed in traditional garb on Monday, according to police. The victim was approached by a stranger who randomly slapped him on the left side of the face in front of 144 Lynch St. around 4:30 p.m. – the third suspected anti-Semitic attack in Brooklyn in two days, according to cops.
