Ok, it seems you have to click on a member to see their conservative score at Heritage. Lisa Murkowski is sitting at 34%, and it is disapointing how many are under 50%.
I don’t frequent the liberal trackers, and I not going to start searching for them again, but here is the liberty score site that rates elected officials on their support of conservative legislation. Heritage is another I use for conservative scores, but I for some reason when I search for them, I am not getting their scores. I know I have accessed their scores before because I sent John Cornyn an email a week or so ago asking him to explain his low scores.
If you go by the couple of web sites that track republican voting in the house and senate, the party has representatives that literally vote with democrats almost 80% of the time. In fact, members that vote concervative more than 70% percent of the are considered alt-right. There are likewise websites that track democrat members of congress, and I can’t find a single democrat who votes liberal less than 80% of the time. And that is only a handful. Tell me again about ideological purity?
My conspiracy theory is that Pence still holds considerable sway over the republican party in that state, and he persuaded them to keep the representation the way it is, hoping democrats take the house and spend the last two years of Trump’s term impeaching him a dozen times.
I will probably get beat up for this, but I really think MTV destroyed real music. Prior to video, it was really homely guys making thought provoking and entertaining music. After MTV it became processed music presented by model like performers. It was mostly appearance, and less artistic style. I mean, I don’t think I would have ever heard Duran Duran, or Missing Persons if it wasn’t for video.
My daughter-in-law bought tickets and we saw it last night. I will admit, I sort of have mixed emotions about it. After they got past the secular first half, the the half of the show focused on the nativity was extremely well done. The singers were absolutely phenomenal. I’ve read that 95% of the people involved attend that church.
Per the Daily Wire, his father had lost an appeal against the Trump administration shortly before the bombs were planted. His father’s company sued the administration complaining they were losing money when illegals they posted bail for, failed to show. But, honestly, I think the grandmother has more credibility. /s
I actually think he is more of a Jeff Flake wannabe. He doesn’t have the ability to screw the American people over for perceived slights like McCain did. But it is a curious thing how these politicians will destroy any credibility they might have just to spite Trump. Everything he does in congress now is just playing to his fellow travelers.
