IMO Musicians should market their music directly thru the Web.. cutting out the Music Industry. Same for people who produce movies..

The same should apply to the 401ks and other investments created by the Congress..

If a family were to receive say a $250,000 for their losses in real estate due to the Banksters Frauds... (Blackballing of Appraisers who refused to go along with the program and spinning up values.. their sharing lists between companies of blackballed appraisers and such).

That family could sell all or part of the deduction at a fixed discount/commission of 10%. So that would mean if someone wanted to purchase their tax deduction the family would receive $225,000 untaxed. The purchaser and or sales organization would divvy up the remaining 10% or $25,000..

That would immediately put real money into the economy. Allow the damaged homeowners to either save that money, pay off/pay down their mortgage..

It would help to make whole all those who have paid their mortgages on time as well as those who have lost their homes or are in foreclosure..

It would also not cost the Federal Government as they could assess the Bank Institutions equivalent fines to the Tax revenue lost plus damages.

Because the Federal Government lives forever like the Corporations and they have deeper pockets it would be to the advantage of the Corporations to settle early.. rather than be assessed ever increasing fines and interest..

If they can and have paid Billions in bonuses and pay to the Corporate Gangsters who created this mess.. They can afford to pay back the American people for their losses...

Oh and if they want to get Hip, Slick and Cool bankrupting their companies rather than pay.. Go back and Charge the executives involved in that company for the last 10 years with RICO Violations and seize their personal assets.

Contact a local small airport and see what a charter flight costs.

On trips up to around 600 miles it is funny.. By the time you check in check out and go thru all the Airport nonsense for a commercial flight. Flying a chartered 175mph prop plane is just as fast or faster to arrive at your destination..

As far as costs go.. you can go on that 500 mile trip. They will wait for a very reasonable rate and you can be back the same day. Another $200 for a room and food saved. It just gets cheaper when you factor that stuff in and your not a zombie by the time you arrive at your destination.

The short trip I described has no less than 3 hours of time wasted related just to ground time for a commercial flight.

They have really turned commercial air travel into a bad joke..

If you have to move on shorter trips for a presentation or something like that.. it funny how a Limo service can be surprisingly cost effective as well. You arrive relaxed and have ready help to haul all your stuff around.

A while back a couple that will not fly moved from Boston to Sedona..They hired a Boston Cabbie in a Lincoln Town Car and made the trip in a week.. relaxed and smiling.

I have metal parts in my leg from the service. I have had to go to secondary every time since the whole mess was created.. even missed a flight before while I got the near proctological examination LOL... That time they told me “I could get a medical card” which only told me the whole thing was Bullcrap because anyone could dummy that up..

If the Tea Part folk in the Congress were to introduce and pass legislation requiring all Nationally Elected and appointed Officials as well as Senior Bureaucrats are polygraphed bi annually looking for Secret Bank Accounts and Financial Involvements.

If the Tea Party folks were to also introduce legislation to end Blind Trusts for Elected Officials and force full disclosure of income sources. If the Tea Party folks make it to the Congress they have to do a couple administrative things to succeed.

Set the Standard.

1. Eschew “Blind Trusts” publicly.

2. Require all caucus members take a Polygraph bi-annually to assure the public they do not have any secret bank accounts overseas or secret investments.

3. Hire only people from their own Districts and States for all their offices. Local and in Washington DC (Preferably already solvent, Married in a Stable family situation ideally with no children that can be targeted by the bad guys arrested on some phony charge and their fate held hostage to the compromise of the Tea Party Staffer or Elected Official).

4. Request their home community Sheriff’s Department send teams to Washington to right off then periodically sweep and secure their offices and homes to include staff.

5 Keep two persons from their staff physically in all office spaces they occupy once they are secured 24/7 365. (DO your own dusting and taking out of the trash)

6. Have their Local Sheriff’s Department Polygraph all Staff at random (This makes it much easier to avoid bribery attempts much like random urinalysis helped GIs refuse to use drugs getting them for the most part out of the Service.
Sheriffs also need to be tasked to provide security for their staffs to include protecting residences from surreptitious entry when folks are at work.

Encourage staff to live in as close proximity to one another in secured residences.

7 order and issue encrypted phones and hire a retired CEWI Officer or NCO for each of their their Staffs to secure Communications.

8. Have the Sheriff from their District provide protection and look out for the security of both the elected official, staff members and their families so no one can get to them or set them up. (Recognizing the bad guys will target the weakest link, Kids spouses etc to compromise Tea Party Elected Officials and Staff).

9. Demand a current electronic text of all bills and post the most current online.

10. Issue a unique electronic ID to all registered voters from all Partys who request it in their districts and afford them the opportunity to vote their position anonymously and informally online before bills are voted in the House or Senate. Try very hard to adhere to their constituents will.

The problem for US Forces is the majority of resources going to Afghanistan are being directed to maintain security and housing for the Rear Echelon... for “Hearts and Minds” nonsense.. Lawyers and other Pentagon Staff weenies who want to get their “Combat Badge” roll in and out of Afghanistan doing crap like providing classes on Western Legal Theory and Justice to Islamic Tribal Chiefs (who of course are only there because they get paid some cash one way or another).

All those Chairborne Warriors need a place to stay right? A place to take their baths, Hot food, Wash their pretty little uniforms right? Of course they need a large security contingent to move their sorry selves from one location to another and keep them safe. All those resources do not make it to the Combat Troops now do they?

Next come some Public Affairs Officers instructed by one of our Faux Generals to engage in a serious “Hearts and Minds” Campaign.. as if a bunch of people living in Mud Huts with a 7th Century mentality are going to be swayed by our “ being nice” So he/she gets it into their mind they want to build a kids School, medical facility (How nice).. Hire some locals to build it for a relatively low price or make it into a real big deal by misdirecting a Battalion of Combat Engineers to build/supervise involve themselves in the same project... Well of course they pick the Combat Engineer Battalion.. because the other does little for ones career. What that means in the real world is that Combat Engineer Battalion cannot do it's proper job of building and enhancing the physical security of Forward Operating Bases and other places where GIs are actually engaged in Combat Operations.

Every pound of Crap that goes to Officers and Rear Echelon Folks in the major Bases takes away from that which is available to the Line folks..

Ask yourself why do you not see thermal heads pulled from M60 A3 series Tanks at most of the Forward Operating Bases? (Heck you see at least a few of them (probably thanks to the original Duncan Hunter) with the Border Patrol... but not our line troops) How many of our bases must rely on conventional Night Vision devices rather than thermal imagers (which enhance security and targeting day and night)?

Where are all those other “High Tech Surveillance Platforms when small groups of GIs on the front lines are being pounded by the Taliban? Answer: Doing "more important things" of course.

Question: Where did all the lower level surveillance systems go? Those much touted small RPVs, Seismic Sensor packages an such? Simple Stuff Smaller units can put to use and manage.

Answer: some Jag Officer needed a second duffel bag of books, a copy machine and a few hundred pounds of paper to teach 7th Century Tribal Chieftains Modern Western Justice Theory...

Until we retire 700 of the 900 some US Generals and Admirals for whom “Victory is not an Option”, retire 20,000 Majors thru Cols (retire not dump on the street).

Until we are mature enough to admit women can do most things but there are many things required in an Army they cannot do. Never let some "Professional" try to intimidate you into silence with regards to the utilization, deployment and operation of the US Military.. Average people solve problems everyday in life .. Military problems are no different than others. The solutions are nearly always common sense based. You are perfectly capable of thinking them thru and resolving them in most cases.

For example: Before in Iraq and now in Afghanistan the enemy killed/kills more GIs using the same techniques American Game Hunters employ when hunting Deer or Elk.

The bad guys pick a known route of travel, they mine it. Often they get into a hide and observe using a command detonated system.

Joe Sixpack hunts Elk or Deer pretty much the same way. Finds a place where Deer or Elk pass by sets up a blind and waits.

As long as American Troops are stuck on roads and trails due to the incompetent decision making process of Flag Officers who put them in Road and Trail bound Wheeled Vehicles the Taliban will easily kill American GIs stuck on those roads or trails.

It is not a matter of making Wheeled Crap-mobiles bigger it is a matter of getting off the roads and trails which requires the use of Tracked Vehicles not wheeled removing that predictability in US force movements. This would require those Flag Officers to admit their whole light fighter doctrine is really in the crapper and has failed).

Our problems when dealing with the enemy involve our leaders unwillingness to make honest assessments and make reasonable adjustments. Our problem lies in Senior Officers for whom everyone and everything else (from Woman's Rights to who gets the next contract for an Up-armored Wheeled Crap-mobile) matters most of all. Our problem lies in Flag Officers for whom everything else but Victory is a priority.
