I recently purchased the book and am wading my way through it currently. The book exposes the nature of our tax system and flat out says that you can stop paying income taxes. It provides examples, cites statues and regulations, and case law. It also provides of roadmap for how to go about it. I grew up like most people thinking the income tax was mandatory. Gore is giving a speach at Lake Michigan, in it he says that the suplus belongs to the middle class.
