He is still on a ventilator, feeding tube, and in a coma. But his body temperature has been in the normal range for a couple of days now - PTL. After some patience causing delays in their departure, his parents are leaving today for Germany and will have more to say in a day or two. The last update was that the medical folks caring for Alex would like to see him on a plane back to a hospital here in the states by Friday. Please pray for a young man who was flown from Afghanistan to Germany yesterday with pneumonia like symptoms. A team of lung specialists were flown in because he had dangerously high fevers and they ended up putting him in a drug induced coma till they can figure out what is wrong with him. They want to fly him back to a hospital here in the states when he is stable enough to transport. The Army is flying his parents to Germany on Saturday to be with him. I have to admit that I haven't kept up with American Chopper but heard about the drama between sr and jr. I was at the grocery store today and I noticed a stand in the middle of one of the aisles. What caught my attention was the sign on the stand that said "organic milk". How can this milk be organic if it's sitting in the middle of an aisle, not being refrigerated? Wouldn't they have to pump this milk full of preservatives for it to not have to be refrigerated? Something came to my mind today. Rush mentioned today that the people who are going to the health care debates are very informed about what's going on and able to ask intelligent questions. Because of the internet and talk radio people are more informed than they used to be. Not too long ago people would go to a meeting with their elected representative and just go along with whatever they said not really caring or understanding what they were talking about, trusting government to do what's right. I know it seems like a dumb question but with his kids in the spotlight so much lately I wonder where they are being educated. I did a search here for the topic but nothing came up. He traveled so much I wonder if they went with him and he hired tutors or if they stayed at home and people were in charge of taking them to school. Maybe home schooled? In his non-apology yesterday his defense was that he routinely makes jokes about people in the news. Michelle Obama was in the news at the same time as Sara Palin. Did he come up with a witty joke about that hideous top Michelle was wearing in London? Does he ever make fun of the Obamas'?

I just get so tired of seeing pro-choice, socialists spewing their agenda all over the nation and I wonder how God could allow these people to be in control at this time. I tend to view Democrats as wanting the opposite of what God wants. All Special Olympics Spring Games in the state of Texas for this weekend were cancelled today because of the swine flu.

As conservatives, more importantly, conservative leaders; lets not just mock the liberals for what is going on in Illinois politics. They are showing the world who they really are and falling all over themselves trying to explain what is happening in that state. My hope is that our Republican leadership is learning a lesson from all of this and keeping our house (Republican party) clean.
