Today’s mail brought a beautiful Christmas card from the White House. The picture on front is a lovely, peaceful painting of Christmas packages sitting on and near a chair and lamplit table. The rally will begin at 1:00 p.m. on the south steps of the Tarrant County Courthouse, 100 W. Weatherford, Fort Worth, TX 76196. There are several of us interested in forming a Tarrant County FreeRepublic Chapter. Although the North Texas Chapter is great, the Metroplex is plenty big enough for a separate Tarrant County Chapter. It takes me an hour or more to drive from Crowley to North Dallas -- where the North Texas Chapter is centered. Plus, given the great turnouts at Fort Worth Bush Rallies, there seems to be a big pool of people over here from whom we can recruit. DALLAS (AP) - Ross Perot, the billionaire and former presidential candidate, stepped down Tuesday as chief executive of Perot Systems Corp. (NYSE:PER - news), a computer-services company. The Dallas-based company said his son, Ross Perot Jr., would become president and chief executive. Perot will remain as chairman, the company said.
