The rules probably vary by state. Some state governors have way overstepped and are demanding that pharmacists rat out doctors who prescribe it for Covid.

As a retired doctor that chose to keep my license up to date I wouldn't care so much about the pharmacist ratting me out. That I can deal with.

The fact is that they won't give it out if I say I'm using it for Covid. They get in trouble with their pharmacy oversight committees.

To get it I would have to lie about what I'm treating and that gets me in much more trouble with my oversight commmittees.

It's an outrage.

I've played this over in my mind.
The problem is that you are focused on the people in front and at your window. Not the passenger window. I'll bet that the driver never even saw the shooter let alone be able to respond with return fire. Your inputs are saturated.
Your best bet is to:
1. Never drive into a protest.
2. Never stop moving if you failed at No. 1.
3. Keep your head on a swivel.
4. Remember you are at the wheel of a deadly weapon. Use it if you need to.

Since they are going to be shooting at cars....cars will be driving faster.

This is all a part of Critical Theory.
Many of the words that they use have different definitions (anti-racism glossary) than what you might expect. They have weaponized the language.

He's under a lot of pressure to sound like he's just a good guy caught in a bad situation. And because he lives in the same neighborhood as the mayor will probably dodge that bullet.

There was information floating about that he must be a leftist as he has donated much to BLM. I've since seen that it probably isn't true but was someone else with the same last name. Difficult to be sure what his political leanings are.

The old saw, that a conservative is just a liberal that has been mugged, might apply here. He has after all just been mugged, in a most enlightening way, by the mob.

I was shocked when I saw empty shelves everywhere. It’s like the toilet paper shelve back in March. People are in a panic. But this time I think they have good reason. Years of communist indoctrination in our colleges have finally brought forth their toxic fruit.

People are getting prepared. Let's hope that it's for nothing and this nonsense all blows over. Otherwise the next six months could be a real bumpy ride.
