Daily Show Host Jon Stewart horrified his audience after cutting his hand during his opening monologue.
Stewart cut his hand after smashing his coffee mug on his desk while ranting about the Department of Government Efficiency.
After realizing he cut his hand, he shared, “I might be going to the hospital soon.”
He later added, “I’m fine!”

A petition on Change.org has already collected nearly one thousand signatures calling for the liberal talk show host to run.
How perfectly inefficient of him.
I guarantee that 999 of those 1,000 signatories don’t realize that Stewart has at least 30 writers feeding him lines.
These are the same people who get their “news” from Rachel Maddow.
Put some ice on it.
I saw that rant on mute
It was rage-filled. Who takes time to hear what he says? And what is wrong with him?
I had to watch a 3 year old go through a temper tantrum just to prevent injury
This was like that.
No. He’s not.
Self-mutilators will think that Stewart is some kind of kindred spirit!
Do they still make Flintstone Band Aids?
Did he at least blame Trump and grab another $50,000 out of USSID?
In my opinion Jon Steward is not an entertainer, he is a “bomb thrower”
https://politicaldictionary.com/words/bomb-thrower/
A court jester paid to say whatever is put in front of him. His time, like Joy Reid, is coming to an end.
I want to see an even better tantrum by Stewart.
This time I would appreciate seeing him frothing at the mouth and banging his head on the table so hard he has blood coming out of his ears.
That would be truly entertaining.
A spoiled man child idiot.
His ilk will never again be allowed the reins of power.
“...what is wrong with him?...”
These people are all rabid. For them, everything is at the level of emotion, just like children ... and ‘where there is emotion, there is no substance’.
They are correct.
“Put some ice on it.”
My wise ass mother, may she rest in peace, had a saying relating to a cure all for everything, including stupidity. I heard it frequently growing up.
“Just soak your head in a bucket of water!”
Not to disagree with the comments above, but, Stewart does have a point about some of the gov’t subsidies...
When people become convinced that they are superior to and smarter than anyone else - and in particular those they disagree with, they cannot tolerate having their perceived superiority questioned in any way.
He’s an actor playing a role.
I agree, when the government pays for the research, we the US taxpayers should get the best price at a minimum.
Heh!
All bleeding stops eventually.
He probably thinks he deserves a Purple Heart for his injury.
