A couple of years ago, I located a video of Michael Harrington, one of the founders of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), speaking to a group probably sometime in the 1970s about how they knew they couldn't start a third party so they were going to embed themselves into one of the existing political parties. I cannot find this video any longer and would like it for reference purposes. If anyone out there in FR Land can help, I'd certainly appreciate it.

I have not posted on FR in a few years, but am hoping to rally some of the troops. Someone "liked" a page on Facebook, which is entitled "The Adventures of Mrs. Jesus," so it showed up on my newsfeed. The author of this page is the producer/writer of the top television show, "Modern Family," and has written for several very popular shows (e.g., Frasier). Toledo, OH (WTVG) -- Some parts of the Safety Building downtown were under quarantine Tuesday evening as several police officers underwent decontamination by hazmat crews. It began as a domestic violence 911 call to the 4700 block of Douglas. Responding officers found some highly toxic chemicals inside the home. Toledo police say officers seized mushrooms and a cultivation of castor beans, used to make the chemical ricin. Hazmat was called. CLEVELAND — Willie Robinson's parents claimed they couldn't afford medical treatment for the dying 8-year-old boy's cancer, prosecutors said, but they had enough money to pay a veterinarian to treat their pet pit bull for fleas. Who are all these so-called "Christians" with MySpace pages that are filled with profanity, filthy song lyrics, sexual inuendo, and some blatant sexual come-ons, and so forth? Damon Wells will not go home. He is a pariah in his neighborhood. The 25-year-old Cleveland man shot one of the two teens trying to rob him at gunpoint on Saturday in front of his home. The youth he killed, Arthur "Ace Boogie" Buford, was 15. Since the shooting, windows in Wells' home have been shattered and are boarded up. I have great faith in my fellow freepers. Back in the 1960's (1966-68 I think), there was a show on television in the mornings. There were people on a beach - I remember caves and waterfalls, etc. They had to run around and find giant puzzle pieces. The participants were wearing bathing suits. It was some type of game show and there were other games besides the puzzle. I can't remember the name. Someone told me I'm crazy but it was a REAL SHOW. Anybody remember?
