President Joe Biden revealed that his administration will be canceling more than $7 billion in student debt for 160,000 people.

The White House issued a statement Wednesday announcing that 160,000 people in the United States would have their student loans canceled, erasing a total of $7.7 billion in student debt for those people.

In June 2023, the Supreme Court issued a 6-3 decision to block Biden’s plan to cancel $430 billion in student loan debt for almost 40 million people.

Credit cards are next.

Or mortgages for the special people.

How is this legal to insert yourself between a lender and borrower and vaporize the borrower's financial obligations? This is so wrong.

What’s to stop Biden from defying a Supreme Court ruling, and just canceling the debt?

I might be missing something, but I think the only option available would be impeach Biden in the House and then convict him in the Senate.

The House might impeach, but only after months of fussing around. The Senate would never convict. So go right ahead, Joe. Who’s stopping ya?

The Penn Wharton Budget Model last year calculated that the loan forgiveness based on the Biden administration’s income-driven repayment plan will cost US taxpayers $475 billion over 10 years.

Almost $50 billion more than what the USSC struck down.

Half a trillion? Cool.
Stroke of a pen

Every dollar is unconstitutional. Why is this being allowed? Oh right, we are being ruled by a Junta.

Bidens insane admin ideologists structured his authority to side step the USSC by using “ national emergency” debt forgiveness legislation passed during covid.

Even though the “national emergency” ended a year ago.

Nobody stops them.
Nobody.

I believe the US Govt is the lender.

Backed by the full faith and credit of the US citizens.

This really has to piss off the dems who paid off their student loans, has to be in the millions of people. They may not vote for Trump but they sure as hell won’t turn out for Commie Xiden.

for the special people.

Michael Savage's father came to the US legally. Never got "a nickel" from the government. His son, Michael, went to the government office building and said "My family is really poor. I want to go to college but I can't afford. I want the government financial aid on this program sheet."

The man leaned back and laughed at me. You can't have any aid, that is just for black people. You aren't black."

In violation of the USSC decision prohibiting him from paying off student loans and in defiance of the constitution that says congress initiates spending (source: Nancy Pelosi) Biden today paid off additional student loans of 7 billion. This to buy votes. His unlawfulness to date 167 billion.

I got the same answer from an admissions officer at Boston University, but he used the phrase “not of the right socio-economic class”

Thankful to that guy because it led me to join the Air Force and use GI Bill to get my Masters Degree
