I was talking to another Freeper and came up with a fun idea. I think it would be great to go to the voting booth with a plunger in hand!
Wield your plungers! Mount the barricades!
Probably illegal to bring anything into a voting booth, but put it on your car and park in front of the election site.
When someone asks you what it means, tell them that your are voting “to get the crap out of Congress.”
I am set to put the plunger on my door step.
FYI I did put a sign on my front door and also car today that said SAVE JOE THE PLUMBER Vote MCCAIN PALIN...
Hubby is going to try and get met to remove them but I am standing my ground. He is with us just does not like extra attention.
If we are talking about Rep. Mahoney, the adulterer, you slogan should be: “Wield your plunger, mount the wenches”.
Oh I’m bad!!
That’s funny. As far as I’m concerned, they can make me take it outside. I’ve brought umbrellas into the polling area and they are a lot more dangerous than a plunger. But your point is well taken and you are most likely right.
I think the reason I could probably get away with it is I live in a very sedate area so some of the nasty things than happen in other places just don’t happen here.
You just gave me a great idea. I can have one put on my rural mailbox. He he. It’ll go great with my McCain Palin signs.
I understand his feelings. As for me, I’m more like you and can be a little crazy and throw caution to the wind at times (for better or worse).
A FReeper said they were going to mount two plungers, crossed sword style, on the front of their truck grill today.
I wish I could remember who suggested it, but, Darn, what a great idea!
What would be great is to just take a plunger to your polling place and just leave it outside ... and just leave it there when you leave.
Your idea sucks. / sarc
LOL.
With my luck, I’d get a fine for littering. I like the idea however.
