He rants bad, he hollers, too much,he shoves it down our throats, crude, mean smartass style. Now blasting Bush on those terrific 9/11 campaign ads.

He sounds like Hitler.

he is away and on vacation etc
100 days a year from his local job.
100 days vacation.
$150,000 salary.
Gets to do another job in the day and allowed to earn another $250,000 salary.
Allowed to have his wife on a $50,000 salary.
Allowed to do whatever he wants,
says whatever he feels, has no manager or boss.

Why is this? No other radio personality in the country has this .........why????

I want to correct my figures earlier on Big Ego.
He and his wife will earn $300,000
this year for the National show and another $300,000 in 2005. Plus another $200,000 in expenses over the two year contract. Thats $800,000 for Big Ego. That leaves
a million left for all the rest. Thats not much.
And his producer, "Tank" is paid by KFGO for his morning show and is expected to "suck it up" and do the entire afternoon show for peanuts. Tank is getting screwed bigtime and is over worked.
No producer and no radio talk show host can do TWO fulltime talk show hosts in a day. One, is local, 8-11 and the National is
2-5. THere will be severe burn out
doing this. And more"cool ones" and more food consumed and extra weight added.
Big EGO has a plan as he knows this cant be done long.
Could he be added to the NFL announcers this Summer( another $250,000) and when that happens he leaves his local
job and gets his station to carry his show.

His second wife. Who is now on the fulltime payroll of Democracy Radio. This by the way is funded by wealthy democrats who are pals of Senators, Kennedy, Dacshle, Dorgan etc. They contributed $1.8 million dollars.
Big EGO(Ed) out smarted the people at Democracy Radio who are not very sharp operators. So Ego man
talked them into a 2 yr contract
and he has full control. So thats
a neat $250k a year or $500k sucked out by him. Than he got his wife under the 2 yr plan and another $50k for 2 years. So he makes $600k plus huge expenses
paid. So at least $800K goes to the EGO man after one year, leaving a balance of 1 million and another year to pay and thats another $800k, leaving a small amoiunt of $200k for all other expenses over two years.
So clearly he comes out as the big winner.Even if his network fails as it appears it will as hwe only has 11 stations on. Thats very very very very poor but again he could care less as he makes the guarranteed big bucks to wing it and pretend he is the democratic
preacher know all even though he just switch from being a conservative.
Plus he is smart enough to use his good ratings on his local station Clear channels KFGO to get them to let him keep his local show and thus he has even more control and makes a secured $150k a year. So
this man has outsmarted Clear Channel and the Democrat Senators
to A UNBELIEVABLE STGAGE OF POWER AND PERSONAL MONEY.
So much so that there are major internal problems at KFGO. Big Ego
is running the show and does what he wants when he wants and steps all over the rest of the employees. Its manager simply cant handle this ego and lets him do whatever. Except, Clear Channel who owns KFGO, will not allow Ed with his National show to go in the afternoons on KFGO and Ed is being pressured big time...to..why arent you KFGO, the big station? If you are the so called manager, than why dont you put yourself on?(HE is NOT the manager, never has been, never will)
So Ed keeps pushing on the local show, that he should be on the national show on his station. He is really pushing Clear Channel to the point I wouldnt be surprised very soon that Clear Channnel will order his local termination ibn the best interests of the other employees and listners.
He cant keep doing both shows. Actually he is stupid to do both.
The local show ties him down bigtime and is mickey mouse comparted to the national show
attempt.
Someone bigger than the EGO man at Clear Channel needs to step in and
handle him and put him in place.
Now he attacaks Clear Channels prize big boy..Rush Limbauggh. Calling him a druggie and other names is wrong and he does it on Clear Channels station.
Something has to give and its obvious KFGO has a very weak
General Manager who doesnt dare to put him in place.
And remember Mr Ego has 11 stations on...rinky dinky am stations with tiny listnership. Rush has 645 radio stations on and he is in all major markets. Absolutely no comparison...Rush is huge, the King and Ed is a tiny
fake.
His national show also has on
Fargo advertisers on with his North Dakota stations that upsets KFGO. His national show is taking away KFGO secrets, ad dollars and more so ratings and listners.His
afternoon show is going in direct competition to KFGO and their other personalities on the air.
Doesnt make sense.
Also, a lot of people have commented on his show in that he says he prides his show on we dont screen people....but in all reality, he does only its hidden so listners are not aware...when one comes on , he is control right off the bat and if she or he goes off in any hard right way , he simply intimidates them by being
loud, harsh and mean like, causing the caller to stop and not say as much...also he often takes the callers subject and goes into a long preacher like expert who knows all there is about Bush and the economy and all...always his take of BS...causes the caller to stop or go away, thus its really his show, not the callers as
he says. And he will cut off any one who has a point different than his by saying"Im against the clock, gotta go".

So the man has outsmarted the employers, the senators, the listners etc....a out of controlled man. This wont last as his callers will figure out his
fake thing.

And he isnt done..hustling...now he has announced he has a upcoming gig with NFL football?

There are what 30 radio stations in Minneapolis St Paul? None have Big EGO(not Ed) on. Why?

There are 15 stations in homebased Fargo and none have BIG EGO on Why?

His employer is Clear Channel, they own 1250 radio stations in the country and none have BIG EGO on. Why?

His own station KFGO in Fargo doesnt have his National show on.
Why?

No major markets have big EGO on. (yet Tony Snow , a liberal talk show host went National this week and he had 40 stations on..25 major.) Why?

Because they have heard him and they are not impressed with his style and experience. He has been a liberal for a year and now he wants to be the spokes person host for a national show? No way will they accept that.
But, he has the almighty guarranteed two year contract
at $200,000 a year plus his wife
on his fulltime employment for another $50,000, so regardless of how poorly he does and how tiny the stations are..the man earns a half a million from the democratic funded pot PLUS gets to keep his local job that pays him $150,000 a year. So this blowhard Big EGO
is having fun playing the game.

So after millions of dollars in free publcity on NBC and others,
he is really on just 10 tiny stations. 10.
And remember its not the amount of stations that mean anything, its the SIZE OF THE STATIONS-MARKETS
THAT MEAN EVERYTHING.He is on tiny stations,....to be on 10 or 40 stations that are tiny means nothing. One large market station
can beat 40 tiny ones.
Rush was on 60 stations after 3 months and 40 were large market stations. Big, big, big, difference.
He will fail and the more he gets these free, democratic caused,
national publicity appearance's,
the more his ego will grow and his emphaty will disappear and he will
destroy himself with the way he runs his show and what he says. He will get out of hand. And the pressure will get to him big time.
And everyday we all will count the
the SIZE OF THE STATIONS HE IS ON.

Clear Channels KFGO also is in disarray putting up with ED and his ego and his morning show and now his national show and both shows are going no where.
The luckiest man in radio, Dan Michaels, fills in for ED as he has a contract through the end of the year and Clear Channel cant dump him without paying him so he does very little and mainly fills in for the star. But Michaels does a very poor job. He comes across as "I dont give a crap". As a immature rookie smartass. So he does the show no good, Ed meanwhile seems to be coming apart at the seams...saying meaner, dumber, stuff.
ED is gone AGAIN to Wash DC and promotes his Natl show and leaves his local show to Dan. Not good.
Something has to give soon.
KFGO has a contract with local -regional advertisers and Ed and his bus with the ads on the bus, that he get out and meet and talk to people all over North Dakota all the time. Since Ed went National...that bus hasnt moved from the parking lot in 4-5 months!Those advertisers are getting screwed.
Oh well, who cares, their ratings are up.....

Another thought is all of the publicity he has had since January! Incredible amount from all major tv networks, major news papers,at least 25 appearances
and worth many many thousands of dollars. And really not one station signing up from reading or watching it. The Minneapolis paper
has a huge article front page article on him, worth $100,000
easy and he doesnt have anyone on from the Twin cities.
This is the real telling story that it doesnt look very good for
Ed.
In a way its too bad. He a small guy from a small market trying to hit the bigs. Like a Rush. But,
Ed had too much baggage when he began. And he didnt come clean with his real background. You dont tell people you are a station manager and used to play pro football and have a Marconi award
when its all untrue. Plus he just turned liberal...obvious why he did. And so he comes across that way on the NATIONAL SHOW...fakey
mean, ego driven, hey you want to fight type of guy. A chip on his shoulder for sure and any caller who dares to take him on will be chopped at the knees. That kind of crap wears very thin in a hurry.
Plus his National listners are callers who seem to have a low IQ,
probaly jobless, welfare driven
but love to talk to Big Eddie, over and over again. That wears thin very fast. Where are the intelligent callers? The sucessful
people?THey dont want to go his show....theres no class...no reason...who in the hell is this ED from Fargo?

What is most surprising of all is here he has been given this incredible opportunity to go national and he does it so dumb and poor like. Anyone else would quick your other radio job and give it 110% and quit bitching and
get out and knock on radio station doors yourself.You cant do two fulltime jobs and be good at either one. He is resting on that
magic call letters of KFGO and their incredible ratings. Scared to leave as he knows he isnt that good and his ratings elsewhere
would be poor. Its his security blanket yet it also will be why
the national show will fail.

Bottom Line...Ed Schultz is not very good. He doesnt have it for a National audience. You cant fake it. You either have it or you dont. He isnt entertaining and
we know he is a conservative turned liberal hustler.
Thats why his show is doing so poorly.
THe National show has about 7 stations on..which is gross.It needs to get into large markets.The largest market, they had was Oklahoma City. They signed up and have PULLED OUT ALREADY.Not
happy with the show.
In comparison....Tony Snow of Fox just started a National radio show and already he has 40 stations signed up and 25 ARE MAJOR MARKET
CITIES!

Being its a hot political year
and being ED was suspose to be the "great liberal entertainer" and being a liberal talk show was
suspose to be red hot in appeal....we cant help wonder if this show isnt already close to being dead.?

Ed Schultz has been a conservative radio talk show host for years.
A opening for a National liberal host came about and he got in on this on the ground level with his buddies and stoogies...Dorgan, Conrad and Daschle. Some wealthy
demos tossed in $1.8 mil in a kitty an d said lets get someone.
Eddie switched and began as a liberal talk show host and said he could do the job...useing fake reasons and lies in his bio which Jones, American Democracy and seveal Senators bought.
He got in and insisted on a two year contract at $200k plus a year and a job for his wife as a producer.PLus some other help.
He got whatever he asked for..
his show went National Jan 6 and now is close to two months old.
On a one to ten...his national show gets a one...very poor.
The lies continue as they claim to be on more stations than they really are. But its about 6 stations all small ones.
Interested stations now ask around and snoop more and are not impressed.
Ed Kolpack a writer for the Bismarck Tribune did a story on his in his first day, January 6.
That story was printed.Now today all of a sudden that same news story has been published in several news papers in the USA as if it were a first run release and by ED Kolpack. Someone from Eds camp, took that old story and fed it to AP and they
ran it thinking it was new.
Poor way to get publicity. Lies, games,poor promotions etc right off the bat on this puppy and a

Overall:
HIs local show has more listners than his national show.
He has very poor organizers, sales people who can communicate and thus he only has about 12 stations on, all in hopeless stations in small markets.
Not good.
Schultz is pretty sharp when it comes to contracts and money and all.
He took those Senators and their backers for a ride. He out figured Democracy Radio and right now has
a lousy show. Poor distribution.
Poor marketing. Poor web site.
Poor everything. Yet big Eddie
rides the air waves with the confidence of a king....because he got that two year contract which means a guarantee in dollars to him. He is a steady vacuum hose tapped into the 1.8 million that was coughed up as those Dems bet that he was the next Rush. Now already they know he isnt. He is
not a a entertainer He is a hustler and comes across as one.
He claims he doesnt screen his callers but what he does is bait them to come on and any right talking folds immediatley get
buried as he takes off on his own theory and gives its listners his lessons on why Bush is bad and the right is hard and mean and the left is good and smart. This turns off all listners. the more callers he puts on, the worse his show becomes.And people who know him know he is a fake as he was a strong conservative radio talk show host who back in that January Demorcrat meeting decided to jump ship and announce he will be the new liberal start of radio. But, his heart and his intelligence isnt any where near a Rush. Rush is a entertainer and is real and is very very good. Ed is a poor.
Attacks callers, manipulates them and and pisses them off. Soi they wont be back thus his audience dies not grows. So his answer is to be more like Rush, less and less callers(Rush has very few ever) and tries to do what Rush does and that is talk and talk and carry the entire 3 hour show.
Ed cant do that but thinks he can.
And thats why his show is poor and will get worse.
If he this great white radio liberal voice, why hasnt any large radio markets signed on with his after six weeks. No medium size stations. I mean he has on 3 tiny North Dakota stations on his network. But nonw in Fargo, Bismarck and Grand Forks?
None in Minnesota etc etc. Why?
Its because most radio station operators are preety sharp people and before they will sign on a Ed Schultz, they check him out behind the scenes very carefully.
They read his bio statement. THey see where i saaays he is the greatest midwest radio personality ever. THats a lie. He is a nothing. A sportscaster turned talk show host on a very powerful
radio station. Its the station not the host that gives him ratings.
The bio says he was a former pro football player. Thats a lie. He never has played pro football.
The bio says he has persoanlly received the Peabody award and the Marcoinia award. Again, a lie.He hasnt received any big awards.
It says he has 20 plus shares for 15 years. Thats a lie.
In other words, these potential clients of his, check him out and see and hear these untruths and
start asking around and find out he isnt this great liberal talk show host at all. He is hustler.
And, kaboom, they are not interested in adding his show to their station. End of story.

Its just that for years inFargo he has been know as a smart ass sports guy who happened to get on a strong news talk station which has built in high ratings. Anyone could do his show with callers and get the same ratings. He knows this and thus will never leave his high paying job there.
He also knows he isnt that good.
Thats why he is doing something no one has ever done before and that is to run two fulltime radio shows...his morning one and the afternoon national one. Something has to give as he cant do both. He cant be running arund in his crusier covering smallNorth Dakotan items inthe monrings and than be a voice for national liberal concerns in the afternoon.
IT Cant be done. Sooner or later his employer KFGO and Clear Channel will force him to leave
and if he is bull headed than it will last until his contract runs out this year.
But the man needs that income and that job other wise you would leave and put a 110 percent into a once in a lifetime national show.

Ed has been on stage in Fargo for years and he has a reputation that is not good. He has more enemie than friends. For years he was the conservative star radio host
proudly blasting Clinton, welfare folds and the like. Now in order to get the chance to do a national, he has switched and his
the new national liberal voice. That in itself is a joke and it will come out to bite him many times in the ass. Now as he speaks and cuts down President Bush he has ticked off all those conservative people who liked him when he talked issues that were on their side. Now they him on the other side of the fence and it really disgusts them. And they knoiw he is doing it for the almighty buck. He isnt sincere
and is manipulating.
AnD That comes to his news release and the one that democracy radio sends out. Filled with lies.
He isnt the most popular midwest radio talk show host. He hasnt had a 20 plus share for 15 years in a row He hasnt received a Peabody or a Marconi broadcast award. He hasnt played with any professional team.Etc Etc.

Try being real. Honest. Do one job

North Dakota Football etc. Now he doesnt travel the state anymore, has resigned from football and just does his cheap local show and leaves. KFGO has a problem on their hands with him.He acts like he is the owner and tells all what he thinks and fears no one.
Than proceeds to do his afternoon show, the BIG national show for three hours in the afternoon. Its been planned for three months or so now, yet has only 10-12 stations signed up. Two tiny stations in North Dakota( no major cities) and elesewhere...its a small station in Colorado, a couple of in California, two in Montana and one in Oklahoma City.
This is why he doesnt post his network, he is embarrasssed.
He now claims ,he will be happy with 40 stations in the first year.
(Rush has 625)This is another lie for the Red Head. Really all he is doing is milking the two year contract he has with Demorcracy Radio to the max. His guarranteed pay from them is $250,000 a year for two years. Toss in his $125,000 from his employer at Clear Channel, KFGO and the man is laughing at quite a few as he stumbles to the bank.
But, it won't last. He is trying to use his power to get Clear Channel to market his show in the
Major cities espicially in North Dakota and in Fargo. But they refuse and word is they would prefer if he opted out of his local job and concentrated entirely on the National show.
He refuses so far as he loves that money baby. But, sooner or later he will.And than the National show will eventually die.
