I am listening to a local guy here in Pittsburgh and he just stated that Kerry's Honorable Discharge is dated March 12, 2001. Being a vet myself I know that if one gets an "other than honorable" discharge he can, after "X" number of years apply for an Honorable depending of course on the circumstances of his initial discharge. After so many years however is it likely that Kerry had his record "fixed" with an Honorable? If it was fixed why would they still date it 2001? I have sat here watching interview after interview like many of you. I began hearing whispers from Dems last night immediatly after Zell Miller's speech that several Republicans were already trying to distance themselves from the Senator's words. So I tuned in to a wide variety of outlets today CNN, FOX, MSNBC, C-Span, etc., but have yet to hear any Republican interviewed even come close to distancing themselves from Zell Miller. Instead I have words like conscious, rightious anger, straight shooter, american hero, great, wonderful...and many others. Can someone please direct me to the outlet where all of this distancing...
