Did you find an installer somewhere for windows media player that has all the dll's and stuff needed. Or did you just use Wine with the regular windows media player installer?
I have found that with complex apps Wine doesn't always work well with them. For example, if you go to microsoft's site and download the IE installer and just try to Wine the install, it doesn't work, but there are some special made linux installers out there for some of them.
It would appear, from some friends of our's, that the incentive to push these drives is that the companies are given a goal by the United Way, and anything they collect above that amount, they are allowed to keep (without telling the donating employees, of course) or do with as they please.
OH LOOKY!!! It's "Mr. Melbell" I talk about him all the time and HE finally came to check us out!!! :D
At any rate, the question he's asking is one we are both very curious about, as both of our places of employment are running United Way drives and I get funny looks because I didn't pay my $2 to have casual day today.
Actually, I don't agree. Horde are the good guys for the most part. If you know the story the reason the orcs and humans are at war is because the humans tried to take the orc's land.
Are you kidding me? The other night I had a dream that I was standing on a street with people dead all over...all the bodies had sparklies coming out of them and my first thought was, "man, I have GOT to loot those before the cops get here!"
