I have been out of the country for some time, so I am confused as to who to vote for to take the place of Kay Barely Texan who is (thank G-d) finally leaving the Senate. So far it looks like Ted Cruz is my choice, but I don't know. I can tell David Dewhurst is the establishment choice, and he's been running sleazy ads like a typical RINO. I also am pretty underwhelmed by his record in the state government, in that he pushed a stealth corporate income tax. That said, I can be persuaded. What say you?

I was recently back in Texas to oversee some business. I shared some time with George P. Bush very recently. Nice kid. Pushing a real estate investment fund for distressed properties in Houston-Austin-Dallas Texas. Long story short, the machine (to the extent it still exists) is clearly supporting Romney. I doubt this surprises anyone, but I figured you'd want to know.

MIDLAND - NewsWest 9 has just learned that a Midland ISD teacher has been arrested and charged with having an Improper Educator/Student Relationship. On Thursday, MISD officials contacted the Midland Police Department after a teacher reported possible inappropriate activity between a student and a teacher. 23-year-old Kenzi Friday was arrested after an investigation. She is accused of having sexual relations with a 17-year-old male student. The relationship took place between the start of the school year through the beginning of April at a Midland home. I have just been banned from Digg. Oddly (for me), I was consistently polite, avoided anything resembling personal attacks (even when attacked), and the like. What did I do? I defended Israel. I defended Conservatism. I debunked global warming. I pointed out credibility issues of Obama. This, apparently, is "an abuse of Digg's policies." And I am serious --- I was WAY more toned down on Digg than here --- and was getting quite a following, and made some converts, I think. Which is why I was banned.
