Some interesting developments on the leaked Supreme Court decision. 1) Roberts confirms that's the decision. 2) Although Thomas writes exceptional legally-argued decisions, Sam Alito has a remarkable flair for sticking the knife. In his decision, he repeatedly referenced the legal reasoning of . . . Lawrence Tribe from 1973! Alito not only reverses lib nonsense but does it with their own words. 3) Long discussion with Richard Baris today. Bottom line, NO subgroup in his polling supports abortion. Some are closer than others, but Hispanics strongly oppose, and even LIBERAL WOMEN by a small majority oppose anything past the first...

I got a note from a court analyst I call Zen Master to protect his identity. He has YET to be wrong on any call. Ok, he is so specific he often will give me the week of confirmation of a justice, and was off 7 days on his date of Kavanaugh's confirmation when Christine Balless Edsel was dragged out at the last minute. Anyway, he always knows who will be selected and when they wiull be confirmed. He's been right on all the decisions, as well. He is looking at a case out today from the USSC, Cummings v...

All, I'm dealing with a lot of people on Twit who want Dr. Oz in the PA senate. I seem to recall hearing really bad stuff about him---not pro-life, a Muslim, a New Ager with pyramids, obviously the Ope connection. Please help me with any info you have. I know nothing about his opponent(s), either. Thanks.

Some of you may recall that a couple of years ago when Gorsuch and Kavanagh were going through their confirmations, and when Trump was having "short lists" and nominating appellate court judges, I had a source on the court system whom I referred to as Zen Master to keep his identity secret. He is well placed, but more important, has uncanny instincts and does his research. In a six-year period, he never missed a call. He would alert me to who would be on the USSC short list, who the appellate appointees would be, and how the character of the...

In my research for "Dragonslayers: Six Presidents and their War with the Swamp," I came across this book: "Arresting Contagion: Science, Policy, & Conflicts over Animal Disease Control." It is a very well researched academic book by Alan Olmstead, who is known as a solid agricultural historian, and Paul Rhode, and econ prof. Animal disease epidemics were growing in the 1800s. Many states passed livestock sanitary laws and blocked interstate commerce. This incited claims they were using health issues to protect their domestic competition. Some areas such as New Orleans continued to ship contaminated beef. The response to this was...

This is more of a "round-the-horn" summary as I see things, but here we go. Early on, I thought Biteme was being run by one person (no, not Zero and not Jill). A Soros type. Now, I am increasingly convinced that there are 5-6 factions in the WH that have some degree of control over Biteme; that he tends to go with the last faction he is briefed by. Right now, that appears to be the State Dept. faction of Winkin-Blinken-and-Nod. I came to this conclusion after I read a book about the 2020 DemoKKKrat campaign by Edward-Isaac Dovere. He's...

Thought some of you would find this funny. I got a contact from my editors at Sentinel that they had an anonymous group interested in booking me to speak. What were my fees, remote & in person. I sent back a number for remote: for in-person, $3k more + expenses; for in-person in NY, CA, or IL, $8k more + expenses. Turned out it was a group in a blue city, a panel "discussion" and I was warned about civility, blah, blah. So I didn't want to go. He said, "We are going to pay you more than that [my...

The Left has often claimed that the rhetoric of conservatives causes violence. For instance, take the false accusations over the years that Sarah Palin incited the Tucson shooting that killed six and left a dozen wounded, including Representative Gabby Giffords, critically so. But when it comes to incidents like the attempted assassination of Steve Scalise (and others) by a Bernie Sanders-supporting Rachel Maddow superfan, the Left and the establishment don’t say much, even when there seems to be a much stronger link between the rhetoric and the violence. That’s why some recent comments on social media deserve notice. When Joe...

https://uncoverdc.com/2021/06/09/agent-of-disaster-part-1/ (Part 1 appeared here a couple of days ago) What if we were to tell you a story? Of course, this wouldn’t refer to anyone living or dead, you understand. That might be, er, messy. Our story begins with an assumption that supporters of Donald Trump (and people on the right, generally) have had for several years, that Communist China is a mortal enemy of the United States; that the ChiComs (as we affectionately call them) were being badly hammered back into their 2nd class status by the aforementioned Donald Trump; and that they would do pretty much anything...

Before 9/11 happened, the big story of 2001 was going to be the recounts conducted by a consortium of media outlets in Florida. In the wake of a failed effort to challenge the electoral votes of Florida on January 6, 2001, many on the Left were eager to see what the media recount would find. We previously discussed the double standard applied to the plan of Senator Josh Hawley and others to challenge the electoral votes on January 6, 2021. Democrats issued the four previous challenges, and on two occasions — in 1969 and 2005 — even forced votes on...

The recent destruction of a building housing the offices of media outlets during Israel’s latest conflict with Hamas led to the usual suspects calling for the protection of journalists to be a higher priority. The only problem is they ignored two attacks that took place in the United States — only those targeted in America were the “wrong” kind of journalists. The Intercept, which once smeared SEAL Team Six, has targeted a number of journalists from Townhall and the Daily Caller for their coverage of the riots in the summer of 2020. In essence, the Intercept’s “reporter” has painted targets...

When the United States of America gets it wrong, the nation needs to make things as right as possible. That is what decent people — or countries — do when things get fouled up. Fixing the mistakes and accepting consequences is part and parcel of life. And when it comes to Afghanistan, America screwed up. When the attacks on 9/11 happened, George W. Bush had the right idea about what to do — take out regimes that supported terrorism. The problem was, his execution was greatly flawed, particularly with mistakes of omission, although one could argue he should have found...

You've probably had a conversation with someone that went like this: YOU: "Demented Perv Biteme is allowing in x thousand more illegals." THEY: "Don't they understand that these illegals will sooner or later end up in their cities? On their doorstep?" or, YOU: "I see fascist so-called antifa is rioting in Portland again today." THEY: "Don't they understand that sooner or later these riots will get to their neighborhoods?" We could substitute almost any topic---taxes, Iran, the China Virus---and the "YOU/THEY" conversation would be the same. Their positions defy logic. And that's because they have no interest in logic, common...

After much thought, I must finally, reluctantly agree with the DemoKKKrats. The damage is real. It is lasting. It can only be redressed by significant structural change, taking from the guilty and giving to the victims. It is time for reparations. For too long, one group had consistently lived as a parasite off the labor of another; decade after decade stealing the wealth of these victims. It must end. It needs to change now. It is time for the DemoKKKrat Party to be held responsible and pay reparations to everyone registered as a Republican, Independent, or Libertarian going back to...
