<p>Dayton, Ohio, Freepers - this lovely little girl was killed in a tragic accident this past week. These folks are friends of a co-worker -- they are salt of the earth, great parents. As the medical and transport bills are already astronomical, I thought I would spread the word about a benefit bake sale.</p>

Hi everyone. My 78 year old mother fell this past week, severely breaking her hip at the femural head (where the abductor muscles attach) and her shoulder in two places. They did surgery (rod and pins) for the hip, but are slinging and swathing the arm/shoulder. Your prayers would be greatly appreciated.

Just a quick prayer request. I've had ongoing, severe health problems that culminated in a total hysterectomy this past Monday. The doctor was unable to complete the surgery laparascopically, and I now have a lovely 7" incision in addition to 4 lap incisions. He also found even more scarring and damage from endometriosis, as well as more and rather large adhesions. I'm having lots of pain and swelling. I always appreciate the prayers of my FRiends, brothers and sisters...and ask for them now.

I was just wondering if anyone else is dealing with endometriosis and/or pcos. I've been looking for support groups elsewhere, but most seem to be (excusing the expression) dying out in popularity. I'm not a new sufferer, but am newly diagnosed wih stage IV endo...and would love to connect with others fighting the same fight. For those others to be FReepers would be even better!

I'm having surgery at 1 on Thursday. They're doing several procedures, including a D&C as well as looking around for the source of pain previously unidentifiable. Hoping they'll find what's wrong.

Hello homeschoolers! I'm in the market for history curriculum. Previously we've done aBeka US History...son is in 5th/6th grade and I am feeling the need for something more comprehensive. Just for fun, I've ordered the "Drive thru History" Soldiers/Jamestown DVD and love it, but it is hardly a comprehensive curriculum. What do you currently use or have you used in the past?

Hi Freepers! Sorry to post, but I've been sick a long time and my brain is so foggy. While sick, I made an amateur's mistake on eBay. I bought some language software recommended for Win 95 or 96. I can't get it to install on my laptop running XP. There is plenty of space available. I think there are 8 MB required, I have several hundred gig available. I keep getting the error, "Setup is unable to run an intermediate file needed to proceed with the installation. Error 104." I'd really like to be able to use this software...could anyone...

Okay, FReepers, I have been looking for this movie for years and would love to find it for "he who has everything". Only problem is, we've both forgotten the title. Me because it has been a while, me because...well...I'm me. lol All I really remember is that this fella keeps dreaming that someone is trying to give him a message and keeps saying "This is not a dream." If I remember correctly, later in the movie it is revealed that the person appearing is him. It isn't a dream, he has traveled through time to give himself a warning.

Today - on my day off - I'm washing clothes, washing dishes, organizing, cleaning, planting, entertaining, sweating and more. And griping. Oh yes, I was griping about it. Okay guys, while I applaud the entrepreneurial (sp?) spirit of the young men down the street, while they wash cars for folks they keep their stereos going. I rarely post articles much less vanities, but we're planning a trip to my mother's other home in Vicksburg, MS, in March.
