I'm having surgery at 1 on Thursday. They're doing several procedures, including a D&C as well as looking around for the source of pain previously unidentifiable. Hoping they'll find what's wrong.

Endometriosis?
Prayers up for you! As a gyn nurse, my best advise is to get walking as soon as you are able to. It helps so much. That said, I am right behind you. I am having some “female” surgery on the 6th. I am blessed because I have a doctor that I work with on a continual basis. I have chosen my room, nurses, anesthesia provider, etc., etc. Yes, I am a spoiled brat. Tell your doc you want toradol every six hours. It is a wonder drug. Non-narcotic, but it does wonders. They can put it into your IV. Be sure to deep breathe the oxygen they put you on afterwards. Helps clear your head faster. If you need help getting to sleep and don’t want to take a sleeping pill, the Queen of England has some of Zero’s speeches on tape that I am sure she is not using. LOL!
