Some facts:
The victim (trans girl) is a boy effectively in drag as it doesn’t seem any operation has been done (still wouldn’t change chromosomes)

Victim could use gender neutral bathroom, but it was too far away and often occupied.

The attacker looked over the stall. We don’t know why. Maybe he saw a skirt on the ground and thought there was a girl he could see partially naked. Maybe he himself is gay and preying on the victim.

The attacker waited outside and assaulted the victim upon exit.

Those are the know facts

Some observations:
No one here is in any way supporting transgenderism
No one finds the lifestyle acceptable
No one is supporting laws in favour of perversion
Some people espouse violence against those who lead self destructive lifestyles
Some view assault as a criminal act No matter who the victim is

We need to bring culture and laws back into alignment with God’s teachings. We don’t do that by breaking other laws of our God!

I really do believe some Rs thought they were a better alternative to Trump. DeSanctis was long known as a conservative. I believe he thought Trump would be taken out by lawfare and made a bad decision to position himself as the replacement for Trump and made the mistake of giving up principles. Vivek seems conservative but never grasped hold with the American people. I respect him for standing behind Trump even while running against him.

I leaned towards DeSanctis until he went against principles and then moved towards Trump (with a narrow view towards Vivek). Sometimes competition just represents a different view which is good and helps us define ourselves, sometimes it is a snake like Haley.

As conservatives we may have had different preferred candidates, but it is time for us to stop the infighting and come together in support of President Trump. Very few DeSanctis voters are Never-Trumpers, they just carried a view that didn’t win out. They will be with us in November unless we push them away (OK maybe 5% are never-Trumpers, but they’ll sit bitterly at home in November. Don’t waste time on them, or alienate your friends because of them. Most DeSanctis voters are our friends).

It takes an effort to crossover vote. She got a lot more votes than I would like to see. Had she actually gotten R votes then I’d be worried about where the party is at. She got independent (50% democrat) and unaffiliated (75% D) and about 25% R.

Most Ds didn’t crossover only the hard core anti-Trumpers. What % of Ds would she carry if she replaced the ice cream covered potato?

Actually I believe that part of the purchase was to defend the Orthodox Church in Alaska.

We really haven’t done that. Depending on how the agreement was written we could hand over authority for those churchs to the Greek Archdiocese of America and potentially be in compliance or maybe to the OCA.

There is something wrong with the food in America. I know many Freepers grow or raise their own but this is an exception. For most it has become bland. The supermarket steaks, even the premium ones aren’t that good.

I had a real eye opener when I moved to Australia. I never knew eggs had so much flavour. Meats also so much better. Not sure what is wrong with the food in America, but I know Americans deserve better. Maybe it’s the antibiotics or just the extreme corporate farming/ranching. I really don’t know. I just pop into the local Costco and the locally raised meats and animal products just taste so much better. Maybe similar to the 1970s in America (I was just a kid then so I may be mistaken).

Each trip back leads to a new disappointment in food quality. Even the fast food here by the restaurants I try to avoid is better. I’ve got kids so McDonald’s occasionally happens. It still sucks but it is definitely better quality. Trying beef in America is just not worth the price for the quality. It is slightly more expensive here but worth every cent. The chicken is also phenomenally better, pork is definitely better and the lamb is fantastic enough to give beef a run for its money.

Yes we all got taught that chicken was better for our health in the late 70s through the 90s and that altered our eating habits even here in Australia. I prefer beef and lamb and am doing my part to support those industries. Unfortunately my wife prefers mobile veggies (chicken). My friends that I trust are recommending some wholesale butchers that are supposed to be even better. I’m actually afraid of finding beef that tastes even better. My love for America will sadden even more as I realise how much all of you have lost.

Maybe part of the restoration of America can be started by getting back the quality food you have lost.

The different law enforcement agencies should have requested an update to AES @ either 128 or 256 bit (what you commonly hear called military grade encryption.

The only surprise is that these agencies say on their ass for roughly 20 years.

Though I was never a scout, I encouraged both my sons. They are both Eagle Scouts and fine young men.

My wife assisted with their scouting program as I travelled extensively for work and she absolutely loved it. Being a scout leader and seeing boys grow into young men with leadership qualities truly made her appreciate the program.

When we moved to Australia not long after they got their Eagles, I had free time and became a scout leader here in Australia. It is a dismal program here. It is mixed boys and girls and many of the things that boys should be doing were lost. Instead they should have kept the sexes apart. The Girl Guides are only female.

There are many activities that can be coordinated between boy scouts and Girl guides that would be great for both. However the individual groups should really be gender/sex separated.

I gave up being a scout master due to health reasons, but I still think about the kids every day. Even though the program is broken here, it still provides great value to the kids. BTW, the scout uniforms are very different here. Apparently some time back a bunch of mom’s petitioned the national leadership and got them changed so they wouldn’t look militaristic. Another loss for the program.

Please remember the problem is national leadership and not the kids. Most local units are still great, but they are fighting a losing battle unless national leadership is changed.

While I may dislike Lukasenko I do believe he has triangulated every situation to keep Belarus out of that war.
I believe stationing Wagner forces there is a way for Putin to force Lukasenko to play ball.

Join in the war against Ukraine or Wagner will remove you and put a full puppet in your place.

Lukasenko may be a dictator but he has effectively kept Belarus out of the war.

You live in a bad area you expect more crime. You have a conservative bumper sticker you expect leftists to damage your car. You you don’t wear a burka in an Islamic area you expect them or other animals to rape you.

These are things you expect not things that are acceptable.
For those that misunderstood Responsibility2nd, please reread his post. He wasn’t blaming the victim, rather he was pointing out the behaviour of the leftists in his area.

Even though no one should be intimidated out of a bumper sticker or yard sign, we all know what the left will do. We don’t deserve it but we should expect it.

Everyone turn down the rhetoric. Make the assumption that a post is innocent and if you don’t believe that, then politely ask the poster to clarify. There really are a few mean spirited individuals here on FR, but there are far more willing to jump to a conclusion and destroy a good article and create future hostilities rather that see a probable kindred spirit.
