www.ACHStudyGroups.com Casting first stones All men are sinners. Agree quickly and take the subject back to principle. Else your opponent will put you in the position of defending a man’s sin. I write this on the eve of the second debate. I urge readers not to defend Donald Trump. Rather – Defend the principles his presidency will enhance. The trap is set. The bait is there. Please do not take it. A Trump presidency promises acceptable Supreme Court appointments. A Trump presidency promises positive economic improvement. A Trump presidency promises greater border security. A Trump presidency promises a challenge to...

40 Days of Prayer is a call to fervent prayer for our elections. We are in desperate days as a nation as the spiritual, moral and financial fabric of our nation is disintegrating around us. America's National Prayer Committee and its member organizations are putting out a call to pray 40 days prior to the elections (September 28 - November 6).

It all started on New Year's Eve in 2005. President Bush asked what my New Year's resolutions were. I told him that as a regular reader who'd gotten out of the habit, my goal was to read a book a week in 2006. Three days later, we were in the Oval Office when he fixed me in his sights and said, "I'm on my second. Where are you?" Mr. Bush had turned my resolution into a contest. (snip) At year's end, I defeated the president, 110 books to 95. My trophy looks suspiciously like those given out at junior bowling...

Under Leader Reid’s amendment, in the year 2019 about 16 million U.S. citizens would be uninsured and be forced to pay a penalty tax of almost $800 per year. About eight million illegal aliens would be uninsured and would owe no penalty tax. Both groups would get their health care through a combination of out-of-pocket spending and use of uncompensated care in emergency rooms and free health clinics.

US President Barack Obama has mentioned that he will be donating his $1.4 million prize money which he received from Nobel Prize for Peace to the charities. But he mentioned that the decision regarding the charities or charity for whom he will be giving away the prize money has not yet been decided. Obama should give money to the Panzi Hospital in Congo. Nobel Prize nominee Dr. Denis Mukwege had dedicated his life to help Congolese women who are the victims of gang rape and sexual violence. Learn more about Dr. Mukwege's wonderful work at the following link: http://www.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/africa/09/27/denis.mukwege/index.html

During the first few weeks of Obama's presidency, someone on FR posted a daily list of Obama's executive orders, bills signed, proposed policies, etc. Does anyone know if that is an ongoing feature. I need an overview, listing of policies BO has set forth since his inauguration for a school project. Thank you.

"MSNBC has launched a news project with a variety of left-wing special interest groups to boost their Election Day coverage and help viewers experiencing problems at the polls. One of the groups involved in MSNBC's "Election Protection" project is the Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now. ACORN has been involved in rampant voter registration fraud across the nation this election cycle and is actively supporting Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama for president." Other groups include: LaRaza, U.S. Pirg, NAACP, the Human Rights Campaign, the National Gay and Lesbian Law Association, Sierra Club and the Service Employees International Union Link:...

"...as discussions continue in order to forge an agreement that reflects these principles, the American people are taking note of a left-wing giveaway Democrats are pushing to force taxpayers to bankroll a slush fund for a discredited ally of the Democratic Party. At issue is the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now – better known as ACORN – an organization fraught with controversy for, among other scandals, its fraudulent voter registration activities on behalf of Democratic candidates."

At 18, he [Barak's dad] married a girl called Kezia. But Obama Snr was more interested in politics and economics than his family and his political leanings had been brought to the notice of leaders of the Kenyan Independence movement. He was put forward for an American-sponsored scholarship in economics, with the idea being that he would eventually use his Western-honed skills in the new Kenya. At the age of 23 he headed for university in Hawaii, leaving behind the pregnant Kezia and their baby son. Relatives say he was already a slick womaniser and, once in Honolulu, he promptly...

Today's federal election will show whether Prime Minister John Howard's strategy to fight the election on economic terms has paid off, or whether Australians will decide to go with the new leadership team of Labor and Kevin Rudd. More than 13.5 million voters are heading to polling booths, in what the latest poll suggests will be a cliffhanger.

Here's the link to French President Nicholas Sarkozy's speech to Congress last week. Prepare to be inspired! In his speech, he gave a moving tribute to the American soldiers who fought and died to liberate France, not once but twice, during the last century. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlt2GE4EYo4

It appears the movement to draft Fred Thompson into the 2008 presidential race is gaining steam. The former Tennessee senator, lawyer and actor's appearance on Fox News Sunday a few weeks ago has re-energized the right in a way that no one else in the race has come close to doing. Why? Because he is truly one of us and because he can win.
