I would not hesitate to thank America for all they have done for the Iraqi people, after all, they got rid of Saddam Hussain. Allbeit for their own interests and possibly long term plans in the region.

What I am really concerned about is the return of killing, mass graves and summary executions that Iraqi's has been subject to for decades.

As a matter of fact though, Chalabi has no tie with CIA, he is hated by the CIA. His relations with America is through Pentagon. and he played a leadign role in ousting Saddam and was the most active leader before and after the war.

But let us be reasonable here, who in the world would succeed if they do not form relations with the Americans, it is reallity and we should live with it. For the sake of the Iraqi people and future prosperity, I have no hesitation supporting Chalabi, he is possibly the best option we have as a president for Iraq.

There is no doubt that Chalabi was setup, think about this, if he did take $300 milion + from a country which by no means rich, why was he not been pursued by Jordan through international courts. Why was he allowed to live in the UK free.

King Hussain and his family live, and have very strong relation with the British establishment. they could have had him extradited or at least made his life hell, instead, Chalabi prospered and established himself as one of the strongest Iraqi opposition leaders against Saddam. This is not easy if he was not innocent.

As an Iraqi, I beleive that he is one of the best cadidiates we have as future leader, he truely beleives in democracy and wants to have a free Iraq.

Personally, I did not know the details of the claim against him, but now I do, I am even more convinced that he is innocent and Jordanians are up to their neck in it. He is a good hope for the Iraiq's and I pray that he becomes the next president.
