Not listing specifics of what the offenses actually were send up red flags in my opinion. Christ warned about the legalisms of the Pharisees and placing burdens on persons that they themselves could not carry.

Nobody ask for Autism and it has been around for a very long time.

The nations attitude and recognition of disabilities in persons began to slowly change during and after the Polio epidemic. Before that? Worse case scenario was institutionalizing or keeping the person at home away from society WHO COULD BE HELPED. They were shunned. I knew most disabled kids in my metro region because I ended up in a special education school built for disabled kids at first to deal with Polio victims. Then it expanded to deaf, ADD, blind, kids with behavioral issues etc. I spent 7th and 8 the grade in the early 1970's.

After I left there and went to regular high school and got my drivers license my Mom ended up working there as a teachers aide and bus driver.

1985 I married my quadriplegic Bride for the next 30 years GOD gave us.

I saw some well meaning Christians do damage that was flat out cruel & unBiblical such as telling her that he lack of faith is why she was a quad. No, actually when she was a small child the physical therapist believed she likely had Polio a mild case and it returned on her at age 35 just like that. Limb deformities consisted with Polio showed up when they measured her for a wheelchair.. We married after the fact.

Some churches as well as people get so worked up in following every letter of church doctrines instituted by it's leaders they miss what Christ has taught us to.

This cold be a very real and serious crisis mainly wrought by crypto mining. It takes a huge HVAC system to cool their servers. So much in fact that the noise created by the chillers and cooling towers make them undesirable for residential areas.

OK now for the part that has to be given priority. Hospitals would be high on the legit need list and they do require massive amounts of cooling for diagnostics. Our communications grid is high on the list as would be normal legitimate operations to keep the nation running. Skyscrapers use this type of cooling system also.

Just on what a major level one hospital pays for electrical power in a month you could likely retire and live comfortably. If those units are shut down bad things happen. Besides the MRI' CT, etc shutting down the floors in the hospital would start sweating. I don't mean people I mean the concrete floors. I'm a retired HVAC/Electrical healthcare facility maintenance mechanic. I also worked on chillers in the Navy. Our A/C units were the largest single power demand on the ship and we had 2000 Ton cooling capacity spread out over 10 chill water units. That was in the late 1970's.

I have been on social media trying to explain to the Cult Green Energy EV worshippers why our power grid will not handle this and where we are headed. Not even TVA the nations largest electrical power producer is ready. December 2022 we had rolling blackouts on Christmas Eve and Day for the demand of a typical cold snap. TVA is still hell bent on shutting down coal fired steam plants.

It seems this is administration is trying to inflict as much damage in as many critical places as it can. One can hope the EV producers are figuring this out and cutting production likely to ero after government contracts are filled.

Until more than Tin Foil tabloid reporting shows otherwise I'd say it was catastrophic equipment failure within the ship. In this case it ended in a collision. We are talking about a 1000 ft long ship loaded with freight not a runabout on a lake. The ship has ONE Two Stroke Deisel Engine for propulsion. The ship has a crew of 22 sailors. A ship the size of an aircraft carrier has 22 crewmembers and heavily relies on automation or onboard remote operation what can go wrong?

I went through a number of the main generators tripping off line back in the day. The shop that manned the emergency generators had about a dozen men working in it. They kept a 24/7 watch at sea. About 30 men {guesstimate} maintained the ships main generators which IIRC was 5 or so. They stood watch on each one underway.

I watched two different videos of the collision one was speeded up as the vehicles on the bridge were way too fast vs distance. The ship had two Captains and the Harbor Pilot {Pilot worked for Port Authority} on the Bridge. My guess would be the power outages also messed with the control of the engine from the Bridge. There is about 20 second or more before impact where dark smoke is coming from the stack before impact. My guess is a Full Speed Astern order was given to try to slow the ship and change it's course. An act in futility as close as they were at their speed which has been said to be 5-8 knots. A ship that size will travel several thousand ft before completely stopping even at that speed. I doubt during the blackouts they had rudder control. Navy ships have manual backups and again a watch 24/7 underway in the steering machinery rooms.

My point being of all that was going on during the mayhem likely only 5-6 men if that had the experience and qualifications to respond to the problems. Did I say this ship only had a crew of 22? Shipping companies have been gambling for years betting a catastrophic failure would not occur during transit in port in a busy channel or even at sea. A dangerous bet to make.

Xanax has gotten an undeserved bad rap due to recreational users. Used properly for the right reason it is reasonably safe. It is an anti-anxiety anti convulsant medication which works for a form of anxiety disorders which antidepressants can endanger the patient triggering an LSD type reaction called Serotonin Syndrome.

Xanax works well for persons with Sensory Processing {optical and audio} Disorders where anxiety is triggered due to an oversaturation of sensory impulses and the Inner Ear and associated portion of the brain can not process thinks quick enough and triggers sensory overload. Overload meaning anxiety attacks and in extreme cases like me Myoclonic Seizures.

I've taken legit prescribed Xanax at .5 mg 4X a day since 1995 and it allows me to avoid brain fog and lessens seizures. Thanks to the War On Drugs or I should say War On Prescribed users the ability to get the life long needed medication has become a royal pain. One prescription once a month refillable on the 30th day. Mandatory drug testing by doctors several times a year. Besides regular primary care visits to my factor I see their controlled substance NA every 3 months for a proven and incurable disorder I've had since 1994 actually longer. However Xanax and now this new extreme high risk drug are high dollar black market for recreational use. Xanax is in the same cllass as Valium and Librium.

  • AT&T proposes ending California landline service, customers want to keep lifeline

AT&T is abandoning it's copper grid. It is by no means being properly maintained nor upgraded. That is what the article is actually about though they don't come out and say it. The cable pedestals or splice boxes along roads for their buried cable the backbone of their central office to home service are standing wide open not covered, splices {wires} hanging out, and another very critical part called the SLIC Service Line Interface Card System a part of their trunking system which allows a 100 pair cable to serve 500 or more are failing. Their last upgrade in the early 1980's these are the larger cabinets you see an occasional service truck at where the cards are located.

Our national communication grid is actually falling behind in national coverage area and cellular although highly convenient can not do the job.

I find it odd that if AT&T charged someone $800 plus for a standard desk phone which was reliable will not bat an eye paying for a cell phone {radio transceiver} that is hit and miss and drops calls and has to be replaced ever couple years.

On a cellphone today to call anyone but close friends GOOGLE has become the new phone book. To find a person now is all but impossible. And like it or not cell systems do allow Big Brother the means to track your movements aka exact location and I would likely say monitor your communications as well. My dad told me even back in the 80's never assume a call is private.

Land lines are often not affected by power outages .

That too they gave up by taking out their emergency back up generators. Phones work on 48 volts DC and AT&T used battery banks located at the phone company that were kept charged by utility power and if needed diesel powered generators for back up. The old system could go forever meaning weeks if utility power was lost.

Thank Judge Green for it. Ma Bell in most exchanges was ran like a utility. Actually, they had to provide landline service if requested for a set fee no matter the distance. A utility company meaning power company in many places will set two poles to reach your home maybe three at no cost. AT&T before the split operating under Ma Bell would bury cable even a half mile.

My Dad was a 45 year Telco worker who started out replacing old crank magenta phones with rotary ones back in the late 1940's. From there here became a central office repairman in the long distance switching office called 4A. When it went to Electronic Switching in 1980 he went back outside and maintained data circuits including 911 center until retirement in about 1993 or so.

Landlines are or rather used to be until AT&T stopped maintenance the most reliable phone service. If maintained properly it still would be. Cell service will never reach landline reliability for several reasons most of which is being done by cell companies. Cell companies will not build a true nationwide grid of towers. They put them up in more densely populated areas and along the interstate system. In states from Maine going southwestward to northern Alabama meaning the Appalachian, Cumberland, Blue Ridge etc mountain ranges and foothills is very hit and miss in service.

I guarantee you if you buy a cellphone you will see yet another generation replacing it within five years and no additional towers in outlying areas added. Meaning what you knew as 3G, 4G, 5G, and now planning for 6g and still no true national cell grid. The higher the frequency spectrum the lower the coverage area UNLESS more towers are put up closer together. My 3 G worked most of the time at my home. 4G was very hit and miss and except in dead of winter with no leaves 5G is impossible. So I use WIFI calling through my VIASAT satellite internet system. It works better than the cell towers but has its own issues.

I lost my landline for good about 4 years ago. Tree's would fall on the ariel line serving my road which is a quarter mile long and 4 houses. The first time it happened they came out and ran about 100 ft of drop wire on the ground to connect two pole spans of line. They left the cable on the ground and the splices unprotected. Each time it rained I lost service. I'd call it in and not get past the automated system who said someone would be dispatched because it saw trouble on the line. Before dispatching maybe a week later it tested it again and if the line was dry did not dispatch and ZERO human interaction. Finally after another tree fell and cut the line again they never came back. If my Dad had left a mess like what was done on my road he would have been fired. Ma Bell had it's issues and he even took his employer to the state Public Service Commission to get buried cable to replace the old rural paper insulated ariel lines. That was in 1978 when he was at South Central Bell aka Bellsouth.

When Judge Green who ordered the AT& T split that in turn destroyed AT&T reliability, they bought back all their previous Bell system companies they were split from, then more. They eventually laid off or forced retired about 90% of their entire technicians each time they bought a former asset back.

For those who don't understand AT&T used to be the parent company of most phone companies which operated as The Bell System under different regional names, as well as Western Electric. I have not seen an AT&T van nor truck in Knoxville, TN area in over a year.

The one company who has come the nearest to putting a true national grid in place is SpaceX if they also go cell but at least it can work inside the home of WIFI. The cell companies just like the Cable companies are going to continue cherry picking areas and call it coverage. COMCAST BTW wanted $15K to run service on my road. I do live in a rural area but they came up the main road and cherry picked the ones there likely while using Rural Interne=net connecting funding. As a nation we need reliable communication and up until about 15 years ago we had it. Not any longer.

We are all living stones being built up into God's dwelling place. Peter is not the only one.

True but many as foretold stumble over it. They want to place man made doctrines and conditions on The New Covenant which is so simple a child can understand it and was intended to be simple. Man complicated it thus stumbling over the very basic and purposely made so Believing solely in Jesus Christ for Salvation by Grace through faith. 66 books written and given to man saying Christ is coming, He's here, He died for our sins, He arose from the grave on the third day and appeared to many of his followers, and then ascended into heaven to the right hand of GOD, He's coming back.

Man has added to, placed conditions on, subverted, and placed burdens to it much like what Christ well covered in His chastising of the Temple leaders of the day. GOD's Word Jesus Christ GOD in human flesh among men.

Before ascending to the Father Jesus sent the teacher of all truths to guide man called The Holy Spirit which was manifested at Pentecost. Although present before this as The Bible clearly shows {John The Baptist knew Jesus before birth} The Holy Spirit had not yet been received by mankind as a whole.

    Likely the very one who told Peter, James, and John who the three men were Jesus met on the mountain at the Transfiguration. Otherwise how would they have known who they were? :>}

Even after re-naming him Peter Jesus several times calls him Simon. The name Peter aka rock came because of Simons saying Jesus is the Son of GOD. Only Jesus is the true rock as foretold as the cornerstone in the Old Testament. Simon’s name change came about because of what was revealed to him which he professed and Jesus being the rock upon which Jesus will build his church. The new temple is Christ living within man. The temple in Jerusalem was destroyed within a few decades. The Apostles, Disciples, Elders, and believers, would worship Jesus in spirit just as He told the woman at the well. In GOD Given calling to minister, a street preacher is no less of a preacher than a Pope or a Priest in a remote nation any less a preacher than one as an example Billy Graham was. All serve the same Lord.

Given that Jesus is likewise God, does it make sense that He would give Simon the name "Peter" solely because of his personality? Or was it meant to signify a change in Simon's role in the salvific plan of God?

Mark chapter 3 show three changed names of the 12.

16 These are the twelve he appointed: Simon (to whom he gave the name Peter),
17 James son of Zebedee and his brother John (to them he gave the name Boanerges, which means “sons of thunder”),
18 Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James son of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus, Simon the Zealot
19 and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.

Peter's words were revealed to him by The Father. This meaning Divine Revelation from Father, Son, Holy Spirit, did away with the old order. It established the Church of the believers in Jesus Christ. Not by mans doing but rather by GOD revealing to man directly pricking mans heart.

Read what Paul wrote in Galatians ch 1.

11 I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel I preached is not of human origin.
12 I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ.
13 For you have heard of my previous way of life in Judaism, how intensely I persecuted the church of God and tried to destroy it.
14 I was advancing in Judaism beyond many of my own age among my people and was extremely zealous for the traditions of my fathers.
15 But when God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called me by his grace, was pleased
16 to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles, my immediate response was not to consult any human being.
17 I did not go up to Jerusalem to see those who were apostles before I was, but I went into Arabia. Later I returned to Damascus.
18 Then after three years, I went up to Jerusalem to get acquainted with Cephas and stayed with him fifteen days.
19 I saw none of the other apostles—only James, the Lord’s brother.

GOD in Christ dwelling with man as human form Jesus before His death and resurrection then at The Pentecost where all full of knowledge and were given what to say by The Holy Spirit just as Peter was given his answer when Jesus asked "but who do you say I am".

The new Temple is established with Christ living within us and not in a building. Many churches have made rules for salvation so strict it approaches those added to the laws of the day by the Scribes and Pharisees back in the day.

The Navy has never been real great on mental health of crewmembers. A guy I served with in my shop was very likely Bi-Polar. He went from near perfect evals and quarterly sailor to losing two paygrades in a short time right after a change in division officers and an office shake up. The guy had been working in the office and was then sent to my shop. When he came to the shop he's start going off on rants one minute and being fine a few minutes later. That said he was the best pump mechanic on the ship and didn't mind work. He got out and to be honest over the years I wondered about him. Then one day he showed up on FB and sent me a message asking to call me. I knew it was him because he used my shop nickname and his. Seems he's doing well now. I was glad to hear it.

I was in during Carters entire term and morale went in the crapper on ship especially the closer it got to 1980. My first CO kept morale up and was one the crew had a deep respect for as he was one of the longest in The Hilton. He began his Navy career as a fireman recruit and retired as Rear Admiral.

Over the course of four years we had a few deaths onboard only one was suicide. A guy jumped off the flightdeck as we were transiting the channel coming home from our 77/78 MED. His body recovered a day or two later. The rest of the deaths was one natural causes a chief passed in his sleep and the rest were accidents. My shop ran the morgue. Bodies were taken to the aft walk in cooler and a watch from my shop posted outside the cooler until flyoff.

This comes to mind. We had two chaplains onboard serving 5000. They were free to counsel using Biblical teachings, prayer, and was the one who woke shipmates up to bring bad news from home. Several times I woke up and a guy would be gone. I'd ask where is whoever and someone would say he flew off ship last night emergency leave.

Todays chaplains as I understand it last I heard literally have their hands tied by Pentagon WOKENESS limiting their ability to serve.

Back in the day as some say it besides the chaplains we had senior officers who we could go to if in a bad way. They would lead prayer groups in the chapel etc. One was CHENG another was the ships weapons officer both very devout. There were more and then there were others who could make life miserable if you were vocal about being a Christian.

I think coed ships factor in as well as extended deployments and likely working sailors during shipyard time instead of giving down time with family.

My last year was entirely spent at Norfolk Naval Shipyard for our year long overhaul. The Pentagon was hurring repairs and put the crew doing what was traditionally yard work to sent the ship to the PG/IO. 3 or 4 section duty with long hours stinks. Before the yards it was 6 section duty and during the three month long post deployment stand down yard periods hours were 0700-1500 with sneak outs early frequently given on Fridays so guys could get home for a weekend for those with family close enough. The enlistment obligations times now are also ridiculous for a recruit. Unless a person is a nuke snipe 4 years active is plenty of service time.

When the ship went to sea 20 hour days were not uncommon for many. You had a 10-12 hour workday and two 4 hour watches every 24 hours. Thus when the ship came home generous stand down was given if possible. Staying busy when underway made the time go faster and on Sunday mornings sometimes you got unofficial time to catch up on highly needed sleep.

That’s for are little ‘expensive’ buddy in the region. No questions asked.........”Gibs Me Dats.”

We kept two carrier groups with twice the escorts in the MED SEA post WW2-the 1980's 24/7/365. At the same time we were at war with Korea then Nam. Abandoning a two carrier presence on The Med was a huge mistake. Going to only one carrier group splitting and with that splitting it between MED SEA and PG was a even bigger mistake. Of course our beloved GWH Bush, Cheney, Clinton, Congressional RINO's and DEMS cut our entire military and our Navy from 599 to under 300 ships. Add to that weak presidents like all the ones from GHW Bush through Obama have wrought a mess. Biden is just the end result he is finishing what those Morons started.

I also had a sister who had serious mental issues. She was Manic and likely some schizophrenia. She never became violent and was OK as long as she took her meds. When she'd go off of them she usually sought me out to get her help. She went through most of her life with it. A doctor aka shrink I had at first treating me for PTSD and Vestibular General Anxiety unfortunately started treating herr. The woman should not have had a medical license. She was the one insistant I take antidepressants I was having reactions too.

Anyways when my brother in law passed she has a mental breakdown and my niece took her to the clinic the doctor was at. My niece had called and told them what was going on and that he had passed. The doctor walks out to the lobby and asked her "where is your husband at today?" What kind of moron would do that? Back when all this was going on shrinks were using 1950's and earlier knowledge and just treating symptoms. In my wifes case she deeveloped PTSD because a dentist nearly killed her with meds for pain he gave her after a tooth extraction. She later needed all her teeth pulledd and waas seeing the shrink for treatment for PTSD so she could handle having her teeth extracted for dentures.

Your case unfortunately is not unusual.there are incompetent drs and hospitals. We dont have much control over that..your wife was blessed to have you.

We met in a nursing home we both worked at. She was a CNA I worked maintenance. She went quad while we were dating and married in the hospital. I was bleed to have her 30 years. We both had a lot of great compassionate doctors and a couple bad ones usually mental health doctors or related too that. I had PTSD develop about the same time G.A.D. hit me or Generalized Anxiety Disorder they tried to treat with antidepressants. They ignored the part of my medical history showing one eye functioning, Inner Ear issues, and now what is called Central Auditory Processing Disorders. I almost went over the edge with their antidepressant protocols. Finally one doctor understood and said they can't help you and he put me on 0.5MG of Xanax back in 1994. It toned down the myoclonic jerks to a functional level. I'm also at 50% hearing loss and wear hearing aids.

You do hear things with hear aids which can come from radio interference from another electronic device. To me it would sound like a TV on very low in another room unable to understand words. I figure it's likely a plane going over that and this started happening when I was given bluetooth hearing aids about a year ago. Very infrequent occurrences. But I understand enough radio theory to know it can happen. That is what FCC regs are supposed to cover but nothing is fool proof.
