  • Walmart shoppers rage after waiting hours for 65-inch Mac & Cheese box — only for it to sell out in seconds

That doesn’t make me mad. What makes me mad is on-liners emptying shelves and walk in customers having to dodge the oversized picker carts loading their crap while blocking everything. Walmart can’t keep their shelves stocked because pickers grab it first. Then walkins have to subsidize paying for the cost of the on line shoppers royal treatment including ringing our own items up, bagging, and take and load. The online picking should be done during after store hours then the shelves restocked for walk in customers before opening time.

I don’t want my food picked for me neither. I want to see what I am getting including expiration dates. The self checkout is an issue I am early stage Parkinsons {hand tremors} and it causes multiple scans and I have to wait until someone takes the overring off.

Well because this unpaid employee goes off duty when he loads his vehicle up and the nearest return rack is next lane over and cars forced to park as to where you can not push the cart between them to return it.

I can remember a time in my young adult life when stores did not have this problem because store helped you out with your groceries.

Ah but there is more behind this. You go lets say to Wally World and buy a cart full of groceries. All cashier the two open that is are backed up forcing you to self checkout where 3-4 employees who should be running cash registers and bagging your groceries' are standing there watching you like a hawk until the machine screws up then they hide while you wait for them to clear it.

Now lets get to the real pet peeve which is who gets full service? Who does the store pander too and treat like royalty? I'm talking about people who shop at home, pull up into a RESERVED FOR ON LINE SHOPPERS space and their groceries not only are shopped for them but bagged and loaded into their vehicle for the exact same price I pay if I walk in and shop, then checkout and bag my groceries, load them into my vehicle and find the way to their cart return which is usually so packed it's out in the parking lane. All because all employees are too busy pushing the huge shop on line carts through the store blocking aisles, shelves, you name it to go out and bring in carts. Go back to full service walk in stores and the unstowed shopping cart issue will be resolved. A simple solution and no research needed just some common sense.

Tyson was a major backer of Bill Clinton when he was a candidate. Never again bought anything with that name on the label.

Tysons largest retailer of raw packaged beef is another DEM Donor. Walmart sells Tyson Beef I saw it being restocked one night a few years back. The Bush-China trade policies did their damage as well as Tyson relies heavily on China. No foreign nation especially China should be allowed to own farm or ranch land inside the USA. We have had 4 decades plus of China Owned tyrants running and ruining our nation. We need to pack our trash and leave China and they need to pack theirs and leave the USA.

She better not do any genealogy research on her own real family from the 1800’s early to mid 1900’s. It used to be common for a man to be 10 or more years older than his wife. Pickings due to wars, epidemics, accidents, and such many men died. Both my grandparents had a 10 year difference in age. When I became a widower at age 28 my second wife was 7 years older than I was no big deal.

I was flying C-2s 1987 through 1993. If I remember correctly, she was an east coast carrier for desert shield/ storm.

Yeap that was likely her. 1995 was her last one there. But before that deployment she had been ran there three times with no overhaul. I think at the completion of the 1993 deployment when they pulled back into NOB NORVA she had a boiler explosion that got her towed to NNSY for a fast patch up and sent on the 1995 deployment. Once the denied her S.L.E.P. they then simply ran her to an early grave literally. She lies in over 16,000 ft deep sea off the North Carolina coast.

Yes, this is the dumbest article I’ve seen in a while. Hot refueling has nothing to do with airspace management.

I'm seeing more and more of them lately. Navy related articles full of misinformation, showing ships that hull ID number doesn't match ships name, and other types of inaccurate things.

I’m guessing an AI generated article. It has all the trademarks of articles being posted in Farcebook which keep repeating themselves throughout the article with slight variation in next paragraph.

  • Should You Go to Church?

    cva66snipe to Cronos
If The Holy Spirit leads you there then yes. Now let's define Church. Jesus said "Where ever two or more are gathered in my name there I am also." Church can be in a home, work, on a lake bank, in a carpool, venues are many. The New Testament Church is as such not a building. He is Jesus Christ. Peter's answer to Jesus. Matthew ch 16 v 15-20. Simple straight forward. Where you dwell to worship is not the issue. It's if Jesus Christ dwells in you and in your heart that is important. He has to be invited in first to your heart to recieve Him as Lord and Savior. Very simple.

I've been a shut in since 1994 attending church maybe 6 times for weddings of funeral including my mothers funeral I presided over.

I have a rare neurological that only a Neurologist specializing in movement disorders can diagnose called Functional Myoclonic Jerks {seizures}. It is auditory and visually triggered. Yes I can function to do shopping in non crowded hours. Two years ago I managed to go see a movie first time since 1993. I went and saw "The Blind" the life story of Phil Robertson. I went at 1:00 pm so I was the only one there. Oh to complicate matters I am about 50% deaf.

Daily almost without fail I load up my loyal companion Rat Terrier and we head to a trail below Norris Dam that is about two miles long. In those two miles I do my praying usually free of worldly distractions. WE come home and in the evening and sometimes until 2:00am I spend several hours listening to The Bible, listening to Max Lucado, David Jeramiah, and Billy Graham. Unashamed Podcast by the two oldest sons of Phil Robertson I also watch 4 days a week. Meaning this. I keep my mind focused on the Lord. If I do have a question which concerns an issue over my head my neighbor is a preacher. I am also in early stage Parkinsons Disease possibly 2-3 years of being symptomatic. Mainly hand tremors.

The early churches after Jesus resurrection were mainly in peoples homes a small gathering except when someone like Paul visited.

I am an imperfect Christian forgiven of many, many, falls and sins. and only by Grace through Faith am I saved. Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

I’m getting sick and tired of AI, automated voice services, voice commands, voice whatever. A curse on the ones pushing the crap. Repeating something 50 times is not my idea of an upgrade and it irritates me no end be it a customer service center, the hands free command calling built into my vehicle etc.

One night due to a bad phone line the phone line {wet} managed to call 911. That happened because landlines still operate on rotary as well as tones to call out. About 2:00am my Lab was barking and I knew it was someone coming up the driveway. I looked out and saw it was a Sheriffs Department SUV. So I went out to get my dog and the deputy was a K-9 officer. So our dogs were having their conversation same time we were trying to have ours LOL.

I put my dog in the house and the deputy said I got a 911 hang up from your house. I said that's weird it's just me and my wife and I know it wasn't us. I said hang on let me get the cordless phone. I got it and put it on speaker and it sounded like Rice Krispies and I knew what was happening. I explained to him in technical terms what happened as my dad was 45 year Bell Service. The wet lines were acting as a rotary phone. We had a good laugh and told him to have dispatch note what was happening. I never had an issue in my county. My son in law is a retired county sheriff. My dad used to work on 911 system data circuits and phone lines.

Lights are for my benefit not theirs. This way I can see who is there and well lit areas discourage prowlers. I’m in a rural wooded area so it would take a special kind of stupid to try it LOL. But yeah the address should have been double checked at the 911 center especially if computer had auto complete. No auto complete would have meant operator would have had to enter all info and that would lessen chance of wrong address. And Cops should have announced their presence before attempting entry. Again One officer doing so in a loud voice not a half dozen yelling Police over yelling each other. Some tactics by creating confusion put more at unneeded risk.

That might be a very good argument to have several motion detector type lights (at least 800 lumens, more depending on location & number of lights — even cheapy “solar” types can often be wirelessly linked, and also several lights independently (from motion sensing) wirelessly controlled.

I use LED PAR Flood lights 100W-125W equivalents outside on a sundown to sun up sensor. LED's are cheap now and the power use ration is about 7 to one of the older incandescent bulbs and a couple on a timer also. No big hit on electric bill. They last years not weeks even the cheap Wally World ones. I laugh when I see people with LED's turning off all their lights. It's not saving them anything they'll notice on their bill. You can light the entire interior consuming about what 2-3 of power the old bulbs had consumed. I'm a retired maintenance mechanic and did the Math LOL.

Dispatcher needs to be fired, but will probably just be reassigned elsewhere in the police dept DEI hire, or just plain old incompetent? Probably a Union member.

Auto completing should be disabled on all 911 computers. Very dumb idea having that function in that venue. That triggered the wrong address dispatch. The Dispatcher should have confirmed match as well if possible meaning what was happening at the actual disturbance elsewhere. That said Cop meaning just one should very loudly and clearly yell POLICE Department before and during entry Several times. Not all of them screaming it but one loud and clear Cop yelling.

That said I never sleep in a completely dark house. I leave a few lights on so I can identify someone if needed and get good aim if needed. Also if an emergency happens like fire I can see to exit with out trying to find a light switch wasting precious time. My house is protected with RTSS to alert me to anyone outside trying to get in. Rat Terrier Security Service is very loud and dependable LOL.

She’s Diesel Electric so it’s no radiation issue. So pumping out the bilges or hold is now an environmental crisis to the media than the need to do so in necessary to get the boat to a repair yard? We pumped DFM and JP5 over the side on a regular basis. I’d worry a lot more about the explosive fumes than the dumping.

She did what was right and righteous before GOD. Charlie is a rest with The Lord. Nothing can harm him now. Erika by her act handed satan a huge defeat. She refused to allow his hate to enter her home so that he could kill souls through hate. Hate if held onto can destroy you. Now their kids can have a mother who through The Holy Spirit has taken satan's threat away and made him loose because despite his attack on Charlie and his family did not win souls which is what he seeks to destroy.

Forgiveness does not mean a perp will not stiff face earthly consequences for their deeds. That is made clear at the cross where two men were beside Jesus on a cross as well. One mocked Jesus. The other said do you not fear GOD even when dying? We deserve our punishment but hr did nothing to deserve this. Then he said Jesus remember me in your kingdom. What happened? Jesus said I tell you toad you will be with me in paradise. He did not take himself nor them down from the cross. The one thief was certainly forgiven.

Next look at the next death a hate driven lynch mob execution actually of Stephen. His final words.

59 While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” 60 Then he fell on his knees and cried out, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” When he had said this, he fell asleep.

Among those present he was forgiving was a young man who would become the Apostle Paul. He was holding their coats. In the early church he had a huge hatred for Christians.
