Thank you, for posting Dr Sowell’s articles and including me in the pings. I just re-read his remarks on Gingrich and Romney. I has given me pause for thought. While Romney was first in Iowa, Santorium was second and Gingrich lower on the rungs.

Has Dr. Sowell responded to Iowa’s results?
I am not for Romney as #1 ... but I do like Santorium sp?

Did Dr. Sowell not post during the holidays? Hopefully he will write a bit about the results of Iowa’s standing on these candidates at this time.

Ron Paul has held true to his values, no scandals or bad mistakes I know of happening. We have history on Ron Paul. He is right on wanting to audit the FED and cut spending big time.

Michelle Bachman is unknown in many areas ... stress situations, foreign affairs, defense, commitments, She is a nice person but how will she respond to pressure and attack? It will come if she rises in the polls.

Americans have become watchers of the medias, listeners of commentators, viewers ,,, as in cheering for our favorite teams ... football, basketball, golf, baseball, etc. We have become uninvolved except for a few vicarious experiences.

We seem to cower before all Washington has done and is doing to America. What to do, how, when ... what will amount to anything? In other words the youth aren't involved to a large extent. They are into their electronics, entertainment, and the check coming in the mail. Ambition is lesser expressed, complacency has taken over whole groups of peoples.

God help us to restore America to Godly faith and values, in Jesus name, amen.

Facts are facts, the public voters need to know reality not hype.

Newt is not the guy to lead America. He is not a conservative. No matter what he says look at the record of his time in Congress. At one time he did show some conservatism to become speaker of the house. His character is not good. He is a futurist, an internationalist, and would gladly let the UN declare the laws for all.

Exactly the opposite of what they predict will be the result of Sarah running for President.

They dismiss and cut her off at the knees, in an attempt to minimize her effect, is not going to work. It is all BS, intended to influence voters from the get go.

Pay no attention to their predictions. It is all bull corn!

Man! they continue to cast her every action in the worst possible light. Many will no fall for this tripe again..

Sarah has what we are looking for in a candidate.

McCain was and is a loser. They seem to get corrupted by the power and the good life of a Senator or representative. We see how Obama is vacationing and partying, and living the life of a king.

It is apparent to me the republican party had chosen to once again have picked a loser on purpose, exactly as they did with Bob Dole, and are talking about doing it this time as they say Obama is unbeatable. This is too much.

With thinking and attitudes like that, it is no wonder any Democrat wins no matter how weak or poor. We choose not to compete.

This nonsense must stop. One of the reasons republicans do not compete is they like being in second place. That way they don't have to take the heat and there is lots of it from the democrats.

Wake up America. Republicans are our only hope pf surviving as a viable nation. They must stand up and hold to their position, and be steadfast.

Poor choice of words and confusing ... I meant it would be much like it was during WW11, when gasoline rationing was in effect and people that worked in essential oil drilling and ship building, and airplane industry, etc got more ration of gas to get to work and the others simply did little using of the car. I meant we would need a permit to be allowed to have a automobile on the road unless we had permission. Big difference from having a license to drive a vehicle.
