Multiple outlets in Ukraine and South Korea reported this week that communist North Korea is preparing to send military engineers to aid the Russian invasion of Ukraine – reports Pyongyang has not confirmed at press time, but the Pentagon addressed on Tuesday as concerning. The alarm regarding the potential presence of the North Korean armed forces in the Ukraine war theater follows a brief but consequential visit to Pyongyang by Russian strongman Vladimir Putin, who signed a mutual defense treaty with his counterpart, communist tyrant Kim Jong-un, that requires either country to act in the event that one of the...

The Supreme Court on Thursday officially affirmed a lower court injunction that allows abortions in medical emergencies to continue in Idaho, one day after inadvertently posting the opinion briefly before scrubbing it. Technically the case will go back to a lower court for further evaluation, but the decision by the high court ensures that Idaho doctors can continue to perform emergency abortions for the time being. The move drew criticism from both ends of the ideological spectrum on the Supreme Court, with Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson and Samuel Alito wanting the high court to make a decision based on the...

President Joe Biden got some bad news on the eve of the first presidential election: the government’s estimate of inflation in the first quarter of the year was revised higher. The Bureau of Economic Analysis said that the personal consumption expenditure price index rose at an annual pace of 3.4 percent in the first three months of the year, far faster than the 1.8 percent recorded at the end of last year and up from the 3.3 percent estimated in the prior report issued in May. The personal consumption expenditure (PCE) price index is used by the Fed as the...

The staffers have reportedly appeared in Brownsville, Hidalgo, McAllen, and San Antonio, to tell migrants in shelters that Massachusetts is full and has no room for more illegal border crossers. The sudden move comes after months of Healey’s advocacy and budget allowances for migrants.

After Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY)’s primary defeat in New York, a second Squad member could be in trouble, according to a new poll that shows Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO)’s opponent, Wesley Bell, pulling ahead. The poll, conducted by Democrat pollster Mark Mellman’s group and published by Politico, showed that Bell has overcome a double-digit deficit to pull ahead of Bush. Bell, St. Louis County’s prosecuting attorney, is only one percentage point ahead of Bush, but analysis by the group said Bell’s image is improving, while Bush’s is moving in a negative direction, “leaving him with an underlying image advantage.”

On Wednesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas reacted to a report that DHS identified more than 400 migrants who were brought to the United States by a human smuggling network affiliated with ISIS by stating that “we have no evidence that they are individuals plotting to harm the United States.” And “We screen and vet individuals at the time of encounter. If we learn of derogatory information, we take enforcement action.”

CNN commentator Adam Kinzinger said Wednesday in “Newsroom” that he endorsed President Joe Biden over former President Donald Trump because he wanted voters to put decency above political differences. Kinzinger said, “I think it’s really important for people to understand, particularly the 20% of, let’s just call them the 20% of Haley voters for them to understand that this is a stark choice. This isn’t just who do I agree with more on certain issues. I actually don’t even really know where Donald Trump stands on many issues but this is about does democracy survive the way we love it,...

Climate change alarmists are reacting to recent warm weather, pointing to global warming as the monster belching summer heat. “Summer is quickly becoming the season of grim extremes,” writes Evan Bush for NBC News, citing “record heat” across the Northeast, “flooding” in the Midwest, and a “tropical storm” in Texas. While hesitant to attribute any particular weather-related incident to global warming, the article goes on to contend that the “specter of climate change lurks behind many of the recent events.”
