John Kerry was just giving a counter speech on CNN and clarified the Dems' position on the Iraq war. He said (not an exact quote, but what he basically said): All through the president's speech, there were references to some "imaginary deadline" for withdrawl. At no point did we ever propose a deadline for withdrawl. What we asked for was a timetable for success. Oh! A timetable for success! Well! We have totally misrepresented the Democrat's position! OK. Let's just pretend nothing ever happened.
