Rasmussen posted a poll today which shows Bush has the lowest approval rating ever. "Just 37% of Americans now give the President their Approval, only 16% Strongly Approve. Even among Republicans, approval has tumbled and is currently measured at 66%. For most of his first term, Bush earned Approval Ratings in the high 80s from Republicans." But the most interesting tidbit is this line that a lot of freepers ignored. "Beginning tomorrow (Sunday), our Job Approval updates will be based upon data using a slight modification to our weighting process. We will adjust our partisan weighting targets once each month...

And, in a trend that could affect turnout in the November midterm elections, Bush confronts what might be called an intensity gap: The percentage of Americans who said they strongly disapproved of his performance on a wide range of issues greatly exceeded the share who strongly approved. The Times/Bloomberg poll, supervised by Times Poll Director Susan Pinkus, surveyed 1,273 adults nationwide from Saturday through Wednesday. The survey has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3 percentage points. Contributing to the fall in Bush's approval rating since January was a slight increase in the new poll in the...

Headsup to Newsbusters for this CBS Slants Bush Poll in Favor of Democrats In its classic "fair and balanced" tradition, CBS slanted in favor of Democrats its poll that found Bush has a 34 percent approval rating and a 59 percent disapproval rating, an all-time high for a CBS poll. On the bottom of the PDF version of the poll (page 18) it says how many Democrats versus Republicans were contacted. "Total Republicans" contacted: 272 unweighted and 289 weighted. "Total Democrats" contacted: 409 unweighted and 381 weighted. "Total Independents" contacted: 337 unweighted and 348 weighted.

TIMECNN POLL: Most Registered Voters Would Choose Bush Fri Nov 21 2003 19:44:24 ET New York – If the 2004 Presidential election was held today, registered voters surveyed for TIME/CNN would choose President George W. Bush over any of the declared Democratic candidates. In a direct run against Bush, Gen. Wesley Clark fares the best among registered voters (Clark 42%, Bush 49%), closely followed by Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry (Kerry 41%, Bush 49%). Bush would beat any of three other Democrats, 52 percent to 39 percent, in a direct match: Missouri Rep. Dick Gephardt, Connecticut Sen. Joseph Lieberman, or Vermont...

Last night I was informed that our poll was attacked by terrorist. Not the kind of terrorist you hear about everyday but the kind at Free Republic.com. Freeping is a way of manipulating a poll to reflect an outcome which is not neccesarily the opinion of our visitors. The polling system was ... damaged and before I remove it I want everyone to see what happened. Free Republic at this time has LRP World News Listed at the top of one of their web pages for a need of major freeping. In fact a quick search on google will show...
