Costco shoppers haven't been shy about expressing their anger over the warehouse's new membership card policy. The new rule, which was implemented in some stores in January and is now rolling out nationwide, calls for mandatory membership card scans to enter the store. As frustrating as the new policy has been for some shoppers, it turns out that Costco workers hate the mandatory card scanning, too. Or at least, they hate they way it's making some shoppers behave. A Costco worker recently vented on Reddit about the membership card-scanning policy. They also offered disturbing details on the "abuse and mistreatment"...

The Olympics and NBC are taking down videos of the controversial Olympics opening ceremony, citing copyright infringement, instead of addressing the criticism. This action has sparked outrage, as many believe these takedowns are a misuse of copyright laws to suppress negative commentary. Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), fair use allows for commentary and critique, which raises concerns about the legitimacy of these takedowns. The actions of NBC and the Olympics are not only silencing free speech but also acting in an authoritarian manner by preventing public discourse on the event.

Aconcerted effort is underway among leftist and self-styled progressive Christians to take faithful believers out of the game culturally and politically. Politico came out swinging on Tuesday with the tired “Christian nationalist” slur in an article about a second Donald Trump term. It intended to shame conservatives who “believe that the country was founded as a Christian nation and that Christian values should be prioritized throughout government and public life” — in other words, mainstream Christians. The Politico article closely followed last week’s release of the Rob Reiner-backed “God and Country” documentary, which also uses the “Christian nationalist” moniker and...

PETA got on its high horse this week, calling on the country’s largest manufacturer of amusement rides to stop selling animal-themed carousels. The animal rights organization sent a letter to Kansas-based Chance Rides on Tuesday arguing that using designs of horses and other animals for the merry-go-round “unintentionally celebrates the exploitation” of animals that are “thinking, feeling, affectionate, playful, and social beings.” By eliminating animal-themed amusement rides, it would be a blow against industries that still use real animals for entertainment like camel rides or dolphin shows, PETA insisted. Those live animals can face abuse or horrid conditions, the group...

When Joe Biden told reporters that Elon Musk "is worth being looked at," it's too bad Kamala Harris wasn't there to supply the cackle. Shortly after that ominous statement, Biden dispatched his federal flying monkeys against Musk, suing him on big and little matters, all of which were on utterly spurious grounds. His real "crime," of course, was displeasing Biden and his Democrat political machine. Musk's exposure of federal collusion in the censoring of political speech during the 2020 election enraged this crew most of all, so Biden opened the cages. Now they've flooded the zone with federal lawsuits against...

II. Definitions A. Tucker Carlson was blindsided by his firing from Fox News and learned of it on Monday morning shortly before it was announced, sources tell DailyMail.com. Even some of his closest staff were unaware that his show had been axed, reading about it for the first time on Twitter. 'No one I know was told about it beforehand. We were blindsided,’ one senior staffer who works closely with Tucker’s show, Tucker Carlson Tonight, told DailyMail.com. Another insider revealed he still has no idea why he was let go so suddenly, and that many staffers are now questioning whether it's part of...

National Review has a story today about a battle that has been taking place at a Pennsylvania Middle School since last year. There’s a lot to this one so settle in. Stacy Roope says her 16-year-old son Trey is bullied every day in the hallways and even while walking to school. She said her son is constantly tormented, and what’s worse is that he isn’t able to defend himself. “Trey is not afraid of the kids who bully him, but in the back of his mind he’s always thinking about what’s going to happen today,” Roope said. “It’s an emotional roller coaster that happens to him every day, one day he could walk to the school with no issues, the next day he’s getting slammed into the lockers.” Roope, of Helena,...
