Am having trouble with Internet Explorer. Is anyone else experience problems with this browser. Return key won't work when typing emails and some attachments won't download with a note that there's a problem with IE. Any suggestions?

Summary: Microsoft is trying again to con people into thinking that Internet Explorer is the safest browser around. It’s not. At best, it’s tied with Chrome. According to Microsoft, Chrome on Linux only gets a 2.5 for security! A friend of mine just got a Visio WiFi TV. He set it up according to instructions and it will stream from the WiFi but only what is listed on the "Widgets." He would like to be able to go to a regular website like HULU or GBTV and stream from there like he can do on his computer. We looked around on what is available for download but couldn't find a browser anywhere. I can connect my laptop and use the TV like a monitor but that kind of defeats the purpose of having an internet TV. Please help.

Does anyone know why my browser, which is IE7, is not loading the updated versions of some websites? (e.g., HotAir, local news stations) In the case of HotAir, it's loading a page from 2010! I am thinking that the obvious solution would be to download the newer version of IE; however, I am at work, and for some reason they do not allow us to download anything newer. Thanks.

Abstract. We investigate the degree to which modern web browsers are subject to "device fingerprinting" via the version and con figurtion information that they will transmit to websites upon request. We implemented one possible fingerprinting algorithm, and collected these fingerprints from a large sample of browsers that visited our test site, panopticlick.eff.org.
