Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) said he would “not attend” a speech given by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after Republican and Democrat lawmakers invited Netanyahu to speak before a “Joint Meeting of Congress.” Sanders issued a press release on Saturday describing Netanyahu as a “war criminal” and stating that he “should not be invited to address a joint meeting of Congress.” House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) wrote a letter addressed to Netanyahu on Friday, inviting him to speak before a “Joint...

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) has responded to the dozens of bands who have pulled out of this year’s SXSW Festival in protest of its sponsorship deal with the U.S. Army. “Bye. Don’t come back,” Abbott wrote Tuesday in a post on X. “We are proud of the U.S. military in Texas. If you don’t like it, don’t come here.” Bands pull out of SXSW over U.S. Army sponsorship. Bye. Don’t come back. Austin remains the HQ for the Army Futures Command. San Antonio is Military City USA. We are proud of the U.S. military in Texas. If you don’t...

Yesterday, We published a list of 42 Democrat lawmakers - all from the House of Representatives - who were throwing a hissy fit over boycotting Donald Trump's inauguration. Today, that number has ballooned to 60. Again, there's not a single Senator on the list. Here is the updated list, with each protester sorted by state, compiled by our own Jared Yamamoto. At the bottom of the page, you’ll find a bit of biased reporting from the Today show, which continues to lick all the right boots.
  • [VANITY] I'M BOYCOTTING ALL JEB BUSH THREADS

Effective immediately, I am boycotting all Jeb Bush threads. I am not replying to threads in which Jeb Bush is the thread title, and I am not posting anymore Jeb Bush-related threads. Jeb Bush is the most leftist Republican presidential candidate in American history. He is even more liberal than Republican presidential losers such as Alf Landon, Wendell Willkie, Thomas Dewey, Gerald Ford, George H.W. Bush in 1992, Bob Dole, John McCain, and Mitt Romney. All of these aforementioned Republicans ran as butt-sucking, hapless, feckless - ABSOLUTELY MEALY-MOUTHED, APOLOGETIC, ESTABLISHMENT HACK MODERATES - and lost. Jeb Bush supports Common-Core, which...
  • Does White House Video Confirm Obama is Boycotting Ariel U?

A White House video which states that President Barack Obama's planned speech before Israeli university students is the centerpiece of his visit, also appears to confirm that the White House deliberately left Ariel University students out of the event. The spokesman in the video, Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes, says in it that the universities chosen to send students to the event were the ones that "partner" with the U.S. Embassy. This explanation places responsibility for leaving out Ariel – while including all of Israel's other universities – on the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv.

Bill O'Reilly: No brie for me By BILL O'REILLY, Creators Syndicate July 5, 2004 Enough with France. That country is not a friend to the USA, or to peace-seeking Iraqis and Afghans. French President Jacques Chirac continues to block efforts by the USA and Britain to bring stability to former dictatorships and make it more difficult for homicidal terrorists to operate. Take a look at Chirac's recent resume: — Last week he blocked a newly created NATO strike force from going to Afghanistan to provide extra security for elections. Chirac said: "(the strike force) should not be used for troop...
  • After active week in New Mexico, boycotting Texas Democrats take a light weekend (Chicken Run)

The weekend meant family reunions for many of the 11 Texas Senate Democrats who went to New Mexico to block Republican efforts to redraw Texas' congressional districts.

The boycott prevents a quorum in the 31-member state Senate, foiling a redistricting plan that probably would give Texas Republicans a majority in Congress. Democrats currently have a 17-15 majority in the delegation.
