Officers were called out to Norton Commons on Friday night on a report that a man had shoved several young females and tried to strangle another. President Obama declared Thursday that 99 percent of federal employees are not boneheads. "Are there some federal workers who do some boneheaded things? As a registered Conservative, I ask myself the same thing....why do I vote Republican? The RNC treatment of successful Conservative challengers in the recent primary, confirms the wisdom of leaving the Republican party. There has been plenty of whining from conservatives concerning whether John McCain would select a pro-choice vice president. I just hope whining is all it is. As my colleague Dan Calabrese pointed out on August 21, the political leanings of the VP concerning abortion are largely irrelevant. The only way to meaningfully decrease the number of abortions is to convince people that abortion is a bad idea, not to legislate.
