NEW DELHI – Pakistan's intelligence agency was deeply involved in planning the 2008 terror attack on Mumbai, going so far as to fund reconnaissance missions to the Indian city, according to a government report on the interrogation of a U.S. citizen convicted in the attack.

Intelligence agencies have intercepted a terror plot to launch Mumbai-style attacks on London and other European cities, according to Sky News sources. Sky's foreign affairs editor Tim Marshall said militants based in Pakistan were planning simultaneous attacks on London and other major British cities. The group - thought to be linked to Al Qaeda - were also planning similar attacks in France and Germany.
