The Arab states that screamed “genocide” at Israel were simultaneously deepening security ties with the IDF — because they all knew it was a lie. WASH POST Arab states expanded cooperation with Israeli military during Gaza war, files show David Kenner October 11, 2025 Even as key Arab states condemned the war in the Gaza Strip, they quietly expanded security cooperation with the Israeli military, leaked U.S. documents reveal. Those military ties were thrown into crisis after Israel’s September airstrike in Qatar, but could now play a key role in overseeing the nascent ceasefire in Gaza. Over the past three...

Unveiling the Bias: How Israel's Systems Favor Arabs Over JewsThe provided sources argue that Israel’s legal, social, and administrative systems exhibit preferential treatment toward Arabs over Jews, particularly in religious freedom, construction, land allocation, legal enforcement, and access to resources.1. Religious Freedom and Access to Holy SitesIn a Jewish state, Jews face unjust restrictions on accessing and praying at the Temple Mount, their holiest site, due to court rulings prioritizing Arab sensitivities over Jewish religious rights (Weber, 2006; Weiss, 2023). Weber notes that the Supreme Court, under Aharon Barak, limited Jewish access to avoid Arab unrest, undermining the fundamental right...

"They're taking Lloyd Dobyns off" That's how I felt about the move by NBC to introduce its new live Saturday night show bi-weekly alongside the newsmagazine "Weekend". "Weekend" was a show I had enjoyed during the previous 1974-75 season every week. I liked watching Lloyd Dobyns and his attempt to bring some attitude to television news... I read about this newfangled NBC Saturday Night Live show in the newspaper much hype about the reunion of Simon and Garfunkel which came on the second show in the series later in October. In all honesty I didn't watch the first show and...

To sum up the week in French politics one sees the struggle of Emmanuel Macron to maintain political power to keep dragging out the political process out as long as possible. His latest designated Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu named a cabinet last Sunday night to a storm of rejection a symbolic if not literal middle finger. By Monday in the face of certain rejection in the National Assembly Lecornu...

In this excerpt, precious metals market analyst Ted Butler describes an important finding in the gold market. The real reason Bear Stearns went under in 2008 has never been revealed in public. This article was published in Ted Butler’s latest newsletter to its premium subscribers. Six years ago the well-known investment bank Bear Stearns imploded. October 11, 2025 | Sundance | 217 CommentsIt’s all inside baseball, but for those who are watching the effort to rein in the Fourth Branch of government it is also quite interesting.CIA Deputy Director Michael Ellis (pictured left) has removed the acting CIA general counsel and put himself into the role until President Trump’s nominee Joshua Simmons can be confirmed by the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.Deputy Director Ellis, like DNI Tulsi Gabbard is a solid MAGA ally. Without knowing the reason for his decision to remove the CIA general counsel, the New York Times is not happy.WASHINGTON DC –...

Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado bested 337 other nominees to win this year's Nobel Peace prize. The alarms aren’t just blinking anymore. They’re blaring. America’s debt-fueled consumer economy is starting to crack. Families who used to keep the stores and car dealers busy are now falling behind on payments. This isn’t some slow leak. It looks and feels like the early days of 2008, only deeper and faster. Car loans are a disaster. Credit cards are choking people. Home loans are sliding into trouble. Even those Buy Now Pay Later apps, sold as a way to “manage money,” are pulling people into digital debt traps. The question isn’t if the hit is coming. It’s how long...

California's Democratic gubernatorial candidate Katie Porter had a bad week. Not only did she flip out when a reporter asked her a very simple question -- namely, how she planned to win if she didn't court Republican voters -- but old footage of Porter berating staff resurfaced, too. Along with that, so did prior allegations that Porter abused her ex-husband, including pouring a hot pot of potatoes on him during an argument.

In September 2025, the number of firearm sales, as measured by the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS), adjusted by the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), was approximately two percent higher than it was in September 2024. This reversed the slightly downward trend in firearm sales that started in February 2025. The reductions have not been enormous, ranging from 2 to 7 percent for each individual month. Those reductions have been keenly felt in an industry accustomed to significant expansion during the Obama and Biden administrations. While the numbers used to approximate firearm sales increased by about two percent, the...

Mayor Brandon Johnson issued an executive order "banning Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers from entering any city property to enforce federal laws against illegal immigration. This includes streets and parking lots. Further, City Police are instructed to ignore any 911 calls from ICE personnel being attacked by protesters." Gov.
