Insurance canceled for trucking company battling lawsuits after deadly I-20 pile up crash

The trucking company involved in a deadly drowsy driving crash on Interstate 20 near Dallas over the summer had its insurance canceled this week.

Trucking company Hope Trans had their insurance cancelled on October 8th, rendering them legally unable to operate further.

In late August, Hope Trans was given 60 days to take “substantive corrective actions” to fix multiple violations discovered by the FMCSA. In late September, a wrongful death lawsuit was brought against the company, the owner, and a broker. The crash happened on June 28th.

Truck driver Alexis Osmani Gonzalez-Companioni is currently in jail on a $2.25 million bond for the accident. He claims he fell asleep at the wheel. Gonzalez-Companioni was reportedly hauling mail for a USPS contract on an 800 mile trip that was legally required to have team drivers.

Multiple truck drivers formerly employed with Hope Trans say that the company would consistently doctor paperwork and prioritized profit over driver and public safety. In early August, an arrest warrant was issued for an official working at Hope Trans believed to be responsible for much of the fraudulent documentation. That person’s name has not been released. At last update, police were still waiting for that employee to turn themself in.

Hope Trans had its insurance canceled yesterday and is not authorized to operate as a carrier as stated by the FMCSA website.

Crash was caused by illegal alien driver falling asleep at the wheel. Multi-vehicle crash killing 6 people. Postal contract where they were supposed to have 2 drivers doing 800 miles in a limited amount of time. As bad as the interstate uturn crash in Florida.

Not sure how they got insurance to begin with. Sadly, they may not be able to operate without insurance. Hope the lawsuits bankrupt the trucking company and cause major losses for the insurance company.

CEO of the company is Aishat Magomedova. Arabic female name. Real owner is probably her husband. Owners/ managers of firm should also be charged with manslaughter.

So what is the difference between this mass killing and the Liberal Mass Killings at elementary schools?

I think it’s USC 8 section 1324 (or 1234?) which provides imprisonment for the person who hired an illegal alien if that alien kills someone.

At last update, police were still waiting for that employee to turn themself in.

While one might tend to focus on the perp being a 'themself', My initial reaction is "Nope, no corruption here. The prosecutor won't release the name, and the cops won't bother to pick him up and cuff him.

Waiting for 'them' to slip off to 'their' homeland?

Looks like the owners (or at least the fronts) for the company may be Aishat Magomedova and her husband Sarver Miradoff.

Magomedova may be a Chechen (or at least Muslim) in origin. Miradoff looks harder to pin down, it might be Muslim or Jewish in origin, per AI.

Why do you want major losses for the insurance company? How would they know that the drivers were illegals?

Why is it sad that the trucking company may not be able to operate without insurance? The trucking company would likely know that the drivers were illegal! They should lose their shorts!

Sarcastic about sad about trucking company. Insurance company shouldn’t have been insuring companies using illegal aliens, one driver on 16 hour 800 mile run, etc.

Yes California, it’s democommies and DMV is guilty, but haven’t we learned that they are not the only blue state commies that are doing this doing this? No Name Given, anyone?
