A Houston-area teacher was on the receiving end of death threats after asking students to review an essay that appears to be critical of President Trump, according to a report. The teacher, who was not identified, had seventh-grade students read 10 student-written essays to determine what information could be inferred, the Houston Chronicle reported. President Donald Trump tweeted Thursday morning that the FBI and Department of Justice would review the decision by Illinois prosecutors to drop all charges the actor Jussie Smollett faced for allegedly fabricating a hate crime against himself. Trump called the prosecutors' decision "an embarrassment to our Nation!" Since the election of President Donald Trump in 2016, we have experienced a growing trend of once fringe activist groups who are now the leaders of the Democratic Party refusing to accept the results of his election, and subsequently the elections of other prominent Republican governors and members of Congress throughout our land. Even elections where it was obvious the Republican won, Democrats have demanded costly recounts and done everything in their power to destabilize the situation to the point of undermining our democratic republic.
