  • MLB’s Black Manager Crisis: What About Bo Porter?

    The Shadow League ^ | March 1, 2019 | J.R. Gamble
When the Houston Astros won the 2017 World Series, Bo Porter says he was in his theater room watching the game. The former Astros skipper received countless texts, social media posts, and fan mail, congratulating him for laying the foundation, developing young talent and babysitting a dumpster fire during the 2013-14 seasons before the many jewels of the team’s farm system burst into World Series form. Bo should have been receiving those congratulations from the podium as MLB Commissioner Robert Manfred presented his team with a championship trophy. Instead, he unfathomably hasn’t gotten another coaching offer.

Today’s Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends) But…but…but wouldn’t that be double jeopardy? Answer: No. – Corrupt Cook County State’s Attorney Kimberly Foxx and a corrupt state judge can fix things for Jussie Smollett at the state level, but there isn’t a thing they can do to help him out with federal crimes he may have committed in his effort to smear President Donald Trump and his millions of supporters. Before he claimed to have been attacked by two MAGA-cap-wearing thugs – a claim the Chicago PD investigated and determined to have been laughably false – Smollett may have...

It’s been a few days since I even thought about our little green weenie let alone mentioned her and I was beginning to have AOC withdrawal. Sort of like a day without whatever anti-sunshine would be. Cloudy with a chance of thunderSo while our country remains under siege by lawless invaders because Democrats think no person is illegal, which followed to its reasonable conclusion would let everyone out of prison, let’s focus instead on the silly little girl who somehow got elected to Congress. Because electing people like her is precisely why we are currently being invaded. So, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, she...
  • Why Carbon Taxes Actually RAISE Emissions

Not only does the logic show that carbon taxes in the West will invariably increase global CO2 emissions, but so does the empirical evidence. To begin with, data from the World Bank reveals that China, and other developing countries, produce far more carbon per dollar of economic output (at purchasing power parity) than do Western nations. For example, China produced 0.6 kilograms of carbon dioxide per dollar of economic output in 2014, whereas America produced 0.3 kg of CO2, and Germany produced just 0.2 kg. On top of this, China shows no signs of decreasing its emissions any time soon:...
  • THE 60'S SEXUAL REVOLUTION: We're We Lied To?

It was the time of 'free love' but abortion was not legal until 73'. I'm sure all that sex was available but young women still take a chance every time they hopped in the sack with a stranger. They had to be self protective. The media made one feel that if you weren't getting it early and often you were missing out. Was that the case? We're being lied to today about too much. What about back then?
  • .32 S&W Conversion Cylinder

The Colt .31 caliber Pocket Revolver, the Model of 1849 - that is quite the little gun and I certainly still do recommend one for some great black powder shooting. At the same time, I wanted something extra; not more, but just different. And that difference was found with a conversion cylinder that converted the .31 percussion revolver to shoot the .32 Smith&Wesson cartridge. The old and little .32 Smith&Wesson cartridge dates back to the 1870s when it was introduced for the Model 1½ S&W top-break single action revolver. It quickly grew in popularity and at one time was just...

What happened? On the one hand, we know what happened: nothing. Neither Donald Trump nor anyone in his 2016 campaign, family, or businesses “colluded” with Russia or with any other foreign power to steal the 2016 election. But, really, we knew this already. By “we” I here mean anyone not insane and/or in the grip of a monomaniacal anti-Trump rage. The story was, from the beginning, so ridiculous on its face, so devoid of even the flimsiest evidence, that no one not desperate to believe bought it for a second. I would include in that “we” also those few who...

When I was a youngster – shall we say, college through my teens – I occasionally exceeded posted speed limits. Not all the time, of course, and not so wildly to be a danger to the road, but often enough that I got to know Chicago’s “supervision” program rather well. In Cook County, there is a time-honored tradition that minor traffic offenses – almost always speeding tickets – can be disposed of by going to court and saying “I’d like to stipulate guilt, your honor, and request court supervision in recognition of my otherwise excellent driving record.” If the judge...

After years of accruing retweets and Patreon donations with fevered speculation about Mueller, anti-Trump internet personalities are scrambling to figure out what’s next. These are turbulent times for Resistance Inc. The Robert Mueller fetishization cottage industry is collapsing. Russia conspiracy theorists are frantically tweet-storming as though their life—or livelihood—depends on it. And across liberal America, cable-news obsessives and keyboard warriors who have spent years waiting for investigators to produce a presidency-ending bombshell are in a state of open mourning. Nowhere has the anticlimactic conclusion to Mueller mania been more acutely felt than in the alternative partisan media complex that services...

MASSIVE DOJ LEAK Reveals Mueller Finished Trump-Russia Probe MONTHS BEFORE 2018 Elections; Kept Silent While DEMS Swept Midterms Yet Mueller did not divulge his team’s findings until this week, five months after the 2018 midterm elections. “The most important portions of the investigation were concluded in August (2018),” a high-ranking Justice Department official said. “(Rod) Rosenstein was briefed and it was common gossip and well-known nothing had been pinned on Trump and it was wrapping up.” August 2018, in fact, is three months before the Nov. 2018 elections, where and when all of the Democrats running against Republicans for House...

Full title: MASSIVE DOJ LEAK Reveals Mueller Finished Trump-Russia Probe MONTHS BEFORE 2018 Elections; Kept Silent While DEMS Swept Midterms Justice Department insiders just dropped a massive bomb on Robert Mueller, revealing his Special Counsel team concluded MONTHS BEFORE the 2018 midterm elections there was no proof linking Donald Trump or his campaign to colluding with Russians during the presidential election. If the inclusiveness of high-profile, well-rehearsed spokespersons from the Progressive Left represents FOX’s intent to attract new viewers from inside the Beltway, or from the Upper East Side of New York City If the cable-news wing of the FOX network is committed to appealing to a more politically diverse audience, it’s risky business. It could signal that FOX’s senior executives are concerned that too few liberal progressives are tuning-in. Perhaps, in the wake of the discredited Russiagate debacle, their strategy is to take a step to the Left to gain market share from the sentient beings who burned out on...

Hillary, Barack, you owe the USA at least $30 million and two years for all the time we have wasted. Where shall we send the bill? The Chicago police chief was the target of an interview today with his mayor, Rahm Emanuel, about the glaring obviousness of Jussie Smollett’s visible bastardization and disregard for our laws and our spirit of fairness. The Chief was righteously outraged at the turn that had been taken in the Chicago prosecutor’s allowing Smollett to walk in the face of such screaming evidence which entirely demanded prosecution and punishment. Even Rahm Emanuel, who is not...

The Swedish Migration Board has decided to grant asylum to 11 million Chinese Islamic Uyghurs. Carl Bexelius, Deputy Legal Chief at the Migration Board, justified the decision by pointing out that “fertility rates in Sweden have fallen below replacement levels. Ethnic Swedes are refusing to bear children. Rather than let our country become vacant it is better to let it be filled with the more fecund Muslims. If all 11 million manage to come here our population would double in a very short period of time.” Public Employment Service Director General Mikael Sjöberg argued that “our ability to provide social...

VIDEO After the euphoria of my DUmmie FUnnies channel bursting through the 1000 subs count this morning, I realized there was still the YPP review process it has to go through. From what I have read and heard, although this review is supposed to take only about a month, it often goes for much longer. Therefore I have made a suggestion in this video on how to speed up the process. Basically it is that YouTube should tap into a very available pool of volunteers to quickly move the review process along. This would both lower the heavy review work...

It’s a simple principle, really: In a free society, government cannot force an individual to belong to any group. Instead, each of us chooses with whom we will associate, and under what conditions. What is the point of freedom of association, if not this? Almost all of us understand and accept this basic tenet of American democracy. We would be outraged if the federal government or a state government required us to join a political party, or forced us to become a member of a particular religion, or authorized those organizations to speak for us against our will. Government shouldn’t...

Chicago Police Supt. Eddie Johnson and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emmanuel don't get it yet. Former First Lady Michelle Obama, her former Chief of Staff Tina Chen, and Cook County State's Attorney Kim Fox, do get it. It's not about fairness. It's about elites showing their power. When Mayor Emmanuel says that Jussie Smollett got special treatment, that's exactly the message that the Chicago Black Elite want the Police, the Mayor and all of Chicago to get. Because We Can. We are above you. Message Telegraphed. Receipt Returned. You understand what we mean.

I am thinking of traveling to Canada. I understand they can scan your computers and phones and our own Border guards can scan our stuff, too. What have been your experiences? Canada says they can refuse you if you visit “hate” sites. I do not know if they consider Free Republic to be one, but I know FR was loosely “involved” in a Canada lawsuit with Mark Stein. Thoughts?
