Karla Comfort received a lot of looks and even some salutes from people when she drove from Benton, Ark., to Camp Pendleton, Calif., in her newly-painted, custom Hummer H3 on March 2nd. The vehicle is adorned with the likeness of her son, 20-year-old Lance Cpl. John M. Holmason, and nine other Marines with F Company, 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division who where all killed by the same improvised explosive device blast in Fallujah, Iraq, in December.

This season we have a new alternative for bikinis. Many designers have been inspired by the 1950’s style of bathing suits, and now, one-piece swimwear is making a comeback this summer. From bandeau-shaped to great sporty styles, these swimsuits embody old world Hollywood glamour.

Wow! What an arctic blast! Can you remember a colder Good Friday and Easter? It wouldn’t be so bad if it had been cold all along, but to be in the high eighties and then wham! Frostbite! And then, to add insult to injury, it stayed miserably cold with repeated heavy frosts until at least the tenth of April! Condolences to all of you who had your warm season gardens planted. The weather will swing in the opposite direction like a demented weathervane soon enough and we will be miserable with the high temperatures. Sure doesn’t look like we’re going...

I made a post back before Rush named the evil, diabolical plan known as Operation Chaos. And needless to say, I had to wear flame resistant undies as most of the comments were from people that lashed out at me for defending Rush- a man they believed was doing this for money, as a Hillary presidency would propel his career for the next decade. These same people are in denial, along with the MSM, about Operation Chaos' effect on this election. Well, Barack Obama now believes Operation Chaos led to his loss in Indiana. According to his campaign's talking points...

Digging through some old papers a few years ago, my mother-in-law came across the hospital bill for when her second son was born in 1958. They had no insurance. Few did in those days, and the bill totaled $75. That included a week's stay in the hospital. In 1993 we were expecting our second child, and also had no insurance. We managed to save up some money and contacted the hospital regarding paying the bill ourselves. They said prepaying meant we could spend only $2,000, only if there were no complications and it included only 3 days in the hospital....

In the first installment in this series, I talked about how two leading groups in the so-called anti-war movement, Not In Our Name and The World Can't Wait, are front groups for the Revolutionary Communist Party. Today, I'll be talking about another leading "anti-war" group, ANSWER, and its links to communist and terrorist movements around the world.

With 92% in for Indiana, it’s Hillary 51% and Obama 49%. The deal here is, for those of you who say it’s going to be easier to beat Obama in the General because of the preacher deal, don’t forget the ability of the phony liberal news to put that story way behind us as they go Bonkers for Obama after tonight. The preacher story is going to be old news, for sure ABC, NBC, CBS is going to leave it WAY behind, and don’t underestimate the ability for so many Americans to forget the whole thing sooner than you think....

"Once they invent the Sexaroid, that's it for marriage" — Cliff Spears Whither the Droid? The personal servant/buddy/crapworker robot was a staple of the Wonderful World Of Tomorrow that we kids of the '60s were sold back in the olden days. That world turned out to be a BIG FAT LIE — and no part of it more so than the foretold robot pal. Former president Bill Clinton told Time magazine that his wife Hillary's presidential campaign has committed “political malpractice.” “She burned through the campaign cash and didn't plan for races past Super Tuesday,” Bill said. “If she treated our own money this way we’d be broke.” “And, voters think she’s unlikable,” he continued. “That’s understandable. She’s got some prickly parts. There were days I’d just have to stay out of sight. I practically had to lead a secret life for much of our marriage.” “The best thing the girl has going for her is Obama’s unsavory associations with kooks like Reverend Wright...

(AP) Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice told an American Jewish audience Tuesday that young Palestinians are losing hope for an agreement with Israel. "Increasingly, the Palestinians who talk about a two-state solution are my age," Rice, 53, said in a somber speech to The American Jewish Committee at its 102nd annual meeting. Insisting that the Bush administration will never yield to dealing with Hamas militants, Rice said, "What you don't want is that the hopelessness and the vision of the extremists have no counter."

For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ. After months of the repetitious drone on Obama's faith and ministers, why isn't it time that Hillary Clinton's faith be oggled? If Obama has been effected by Rev Wright and the Africentric gospel, what has motivated Hillary, spiritually? Obama has confessed that he "prays to Jesus every night," and that he has attended church on many a Sunday morning. The most I know about Hillary's spiritual...

Time for another scan across news and links that show a society still in motion... reminding us that we can keep the Great Experiment going, whether or not the politicians step in to save us... Still, let's start with a glimpse of what the other side has in mind for us. Stefan Jones saw the “comedian” Ben Stein, whose humor-schtick is to act as tediously dull as possible, promoting his sick new “documentary” Expelled...

He rose through the ranks and paid his dues. He beat the odds to become not only the top Canadian military man, but a key cog for NATO in Bosnia-Herzegovina and subsequently became the point-man in the Free World’s War on Terror with his successful tenure as Commander of the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan. Not only did he work tirelessly to rebuild the Canadian Armed Forces to a level of respectability, he instilled a long-lost pride in our military by spearheading the change from ‘peacekeeping force’ to actual ‘military’. In some nations, they would give him...

MG: Who do you believe murdered your father and why do you think he was killed? Hayder Al-Khoei: I believe it was Moqtada al-Sadr who ordered the murder. My grandfather did not accept Moqtada's father as a Grand Ayatollah and was attacked (verbally) many times by the senior al-Sadr and his followers. Ever since my father left Iraq he was seen as a traitor by them who left the Iraqis to suffer while living a life of luxury in London. My father was older and had more religious credentials than Moqtada and was a natural rival.

That is pretty much the theme of this DUmmie THREAD with the hopeful title of, "HRC's campaign will be 'suspended' on Wednesday or Thursday." The biggest nightmare of the DUmmies is that Hillary Clinton will get strong enough wins tonight to continue HAUNTING them all the way to the convention. Oh, and you nervous Nellies out there whining about how Rush Limbaugh via Operation Chaos is going to make Hillary the nominee should start reading these DUFUs. The goal of Operation Chaos is NOT to nominate Hillary. It...

Boasting of his participation in the 1876 Hamburg Massacre, in which seven Black men were murdered by a mob of white southerners, Benjamin Tillman pursued dominance in South Carolina's political arena. Serving as governor in 1890 he bemoaned the fact that Blacks still resided in South Carolina. "...we have scratched our heads to find out how we could eliminate the last one of them. We stuffed ballot boxes. We shot them. We are not ashamed of it." So naturally when he ran for the US Senate he felt most comfortable in the Democrat Party and became the "noble" pioneer of...
