Hillary Clinton's wartime fairy tale of landing in Bosnia under heavy sniper fire just begged to be parodied in song. And who better to write that parody than our own Charles Henrickson so without further adieu: LANDING ON A JET PLANETune: "Leaving on a Jet Plane" Original All the odds are stacked, I'm ready to runI'm standin' here, holdin' my gunI hate to call you up to say goodbyeBut the battle's ragin', I hear the soundsThe tank is waitin', he's shootin' some roundsI know there's so much danger I could die So send me to BosniaTell me they'll be...

Senator John Kerry (D-Mass.), says one of the reasons he’s supporting Senator Barack Obama (D-Ill.) for president is his belief that Obama would have an easier time dealing with Muslim nations because “he is half Wog.” “Senator Obama is dark-skinned just like most Muslim leaders,” Kerry observed. “He will be accepted by them. After all, he is half Wog. Even though his mother was a typical white person, his father was a Muslim from Kenya. This should open many doors for him in the Middle East.”

Israel vs. Palestine: Let me simply begin by stating what I am going to write is not, meant to insult any Jewish person (no matter where they originally came from).I cannot comprehend how many Jewish people can speak of the Holocaust as well as stating that Israel is the Holy Land and commit the atrocities they are committing against the Palestinian people.Frankly, I believe what is happening in Palestine (in reality it does NOT belong strictly to the Israeli’s) against the Palestinians (which was theirs, except a DEAL was MADE) MUST be stopped. To those who are committing these God...

Wow! February was sure a weather rollercoaster. Not just for us, but for most of the country, and indeed the world, with record snows and cold temperatures recorded in many places. So much for glo-bull warming! Face it, scientists-who-think-you-know-everything! Weather is weather, and mankind has no control over it, no influence on it whatsoever. We can record it, and complain about it, compare this year to that year. Bottom line is—the weather and the climate cycle as they will, hotter sometimes, colder sometimes. Wetter sometimes, dryer sometimes. All the hype, whichever way it goes, sounds suspiciously like a retelling of...

Apparently, Obama went out of his way to endorse a pan-Islamist, anti-Semitic, anti-Israel bigot and one of the most radical Members of Congress--Congressman Chaka Fattah (that his last name is the same as one of the manifestations of the PLO isn't exactly a coincidence)-- in the Democratic Primary for Mayor of Philadelphia, last year. Fattah, for example, was one of 62 Democrats voting against a House resolution in favor of Israel's right to defend itself against Palestinian terrorism and also build a border fence to keep terrorists out.

"A woman in Port St. Lucie faces charges of chasing her fleeing husband around their yard in a minivan, in attempts to drive over him about 20 times."Their baby, who was in the back seat of the minivan, was buckled up and was not hurt, deputies said."Deputies said it started over a dispute over $300 on Friday between Leslie Ann Brown and her husband, Nicholas. "Deputies said he tried to stop the vehicle by throwing a brick at the windshield."The wife has been released on $2,750 bond, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and child abuse."Huh? John McCain is supposed to be the presidential candidate best equipped to tackle what he calls “the transcendent challenge of our time: the threat of radical Islamic terrorism.” His speech yesterday to the LA World Affairs Council demonstrates, however, that McCain doesn’t get it....

Iranian-born Ehsan Jami, former Labour Party politician and founder of the Committee of ex-Muslims, has announced he will publish an Islam-critic cartoon movie called "The Life of Muhammad". Ehsan Jami decided to reject Islam after the 9/11 terror attacks. Since then he has defended the right of religious freedom, with the usual consequences: Ehsan Jami, the committee’s founder, who rejected Islam after the attack on the twin towers in 2001, has become the most talked-about public figure in the Netherlands. He has been forced into hiding after a series of death threats and a recent attack. The threats are taken...

RFFM.org Commentary by Daniel T. Zanoza, executive director I was sitting there, eating popcorn and watching one of the Republican presidential debates. Sounds like real entertainment, but that should tell you something about my life these days. Don't ask me which debate it was because they all seemed to run together like those old Bowery Boys episodes we were forced to watch before cable gave us 98 channels of infomercials. But next up for questioning was former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney and the moderator was asking him something about the economy. Suddenly, I heard a voice, very low, but very...

Yesterday the Florida legislature unanimously passed a resolution that apologized to African-Americans for slavery. While I do not object to that, I must confess that I feel absolutely no more guilt for the practice of slavery by people 150 years ago than I do for their burning of witches in Colonial times. Since I am the product of Italian and British immigrants who settled in New England, it is also very unlikely that any of my actual ancestors ever practiced this abominable custom, anyway. What I am, though, is proud that my ancestors in the United States and in Great...

Right now the leftwing blogosphere is abuzz about another Hillary Clinton fib that threatens to overshadow her Bosnia sniper fire fairy tale. It has to do with her changing stories about what her daughter Chelsea was doing on the morning of 9/11 in New York. One version had Chelsea ducking inside a Starbucks near the World Trade Center when the attack began. That version was later ditched and Chelsea came out with her own version of what happened that day in first person article written for Talk Magazine. Since that story didn't go online, I purchased a copy of...

Here’s a True Crime post and we do one of the more difficult tasks in this genre. For it’s one thing to report a crime, the location of the body, updates on the investigation. It’s heartbreaking to learn the horrific details of the victim’s last hours as despair and hopelessness fill their final seconds of life. The murderer of Meredith Emerson, the pretty hiker who left on a trip with her dog and met up with Gary Hilton, has revealed the details of Meredith’s last days. He says he couldn’t bring himself to kill her dog, such a fine man....

Shanghai Daily Young movie fans in China are thumbing their noses at the Government over its ban of horror movies. The Chinese Government banned these movies last month with a statement from The General Administration of Press and Publications (GAPP). I Think it is truely amazing how out of touch the Chinese Government is with its own people and the world. Surely the GAPP knows that the people will just download the movies or buy the illegal DVDs. One student said "The ban won't make much difference," says Yang. "We'll just download our movies from the Internet."

It has already been shown that Barack Obama’s church published an opinion piece by a Hamas terrorist. On March 23, Israpundit broke the news (http://www.israpundit.com/2008/?p=551) that Obama’s church published an opinion piece that accused Israel of developing an “ethnic bomb” whose purpose is to kill Black people and Arabs. This has been picked up by other blogs, it is spreading all over the Internet, and it should be the next of many shoes to drop during the next week. The following is from Trinity United Church of Christ’s official bulletin of July 8, 2007 ( http://tucc.org/upload/tuccbulletin_july8.pdf). Yet another piece, this...

I was surprised to find out that ducks cant fly. Growing up in a small Missouri town of 800 people I was sure that I had seen ducks flying. My father would tell me that he was going duck hunting, and while I never went duck hunting many of my friends also said they had went. They told me stories of how they would go to the lake, set up their duck blinds and wait. They would wait for the ducks to come flying in and then take their shots. Little did I know that they all where in on...

You'll recall Hillary Clinton's recent speech in which she attempted to play up her foreign policy experience by recounting her "harrowing" 1996 trip to Bosnia. "I remember landing under sniper fire. There was supposed to be some kind of a greeting ceremony at the airport, but instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base." Well, mainstream media has discounted that account, and such luminaries as comedian Sinbad have chimed in as well. It appears, however, that Clinton caved in too soon when she admitted overstating the dangers, as Barely Political...

The man who would have advised the White House on future U.S. Supreme Court appointments, had Romney been elected president... Pepperdine Law Professor Doug Kmiec served as co-chairman of the Romney for President campaign's "Advisory Committee on the Constitution and the Courts." http://article.nationalreview.com/?q=YTJhYTgyZjdkYjAwZDFhOGQ0YTEzYzYxNTMzZWE5ZTA Now that his first choice philosophically is out of the race, the top advisor on future judicial appointments to the allegedly "conservative" Republican presidential candidate has now endorsed -- naturally, who else? -- the pro-abortion on demand, pro-homosexual agenda, socially liberal Democrat from Illinois, Senator Barack Obama. http://www.slate.com/blogs/blogs/convictions/archive/2008/03/23/endorsing-obama.aspx Which explains... ...why Kmiec was also comfortable supporting Romney,...

Jenny Hatch: Aunt and Doula to my nephew Jonah a few hours after he was born. I had just given him a massage! This article in the New York Times really dissed the whole idea of hiring a doula, so I thought I would chime in with a Defense of the Doula. QUOTE: "Then “she urged my husband and me to take a shower to ease the pain,” Ms. Myers said. “I told her I didn’t want to, but she was adamant.” Dripping wet, freezing and in bone-shattering pain, Ms. Myers said she seethed in silence. When she ultimately chose...
