Israel vs. Palestine: Let me simply begin by stating what I am going to write is not, meant to insult any Jewish person (no matter where they originally came from).
I cannot comprehend how many Jewish people can speak of the Holocaust as well as stating that Israel is the Holy Land and commit the atrocities they are committing against the Palestinian people.
Frankly, I believe what is happening in Palestine (in reality it does NOT belong strictly to the Israeli’s) against the Palestinians (which was theirs, except a DEAL was MADE) MUST be stopped. To those who are committing these God awful, cruel, and inhumane acts I believe that you are not only CRIMINALS, apparently, you are not in any way RELIGIOUS, yet you say you are. This Country was “divided” to allow Jewish refugees, immigrants, etc. to share with the Palestinian people. I CANNOT believe that mainly the U.S. is allowing this to happen to the Palestinians and I ask; why is nothing being done? This is one of many oppression issues that, I am deeply disgusted with the U.S., as a HUMAN BEING born in the U.S.A. I personally would have thought after suffering through the Holocaust and calling “Israel – The Holy Land”, the Israeli’s would NOT be doing what they are doing to the Palestinians. I have watched a few documentaries as well as some research which more or less state, Jewish Zionists are the ones doing this to the Palestinians (again, as well as others). I find it to be so MORALLY and ETHICALLY WRONG. As I ponder what your God is thinking about, as He watches, how the Israeli’s AND OTHERS allow this cruelty to happen. To the Israeli’s I say your God is my God, however my God would NOT APPROVE!

The Nominating Convention has not yet met. Mccain is still only the presumed nominee. If he keeled over of a temper-induced stroke tomorrow, we Conservatives would have to find someone else. I really don't believe that mccain can get elected without Conservatives. Why do we have no choice but another damn democrat?

I was responding to your Post #11 to Alouette (which was itself in response to her Post #8 in which she said, "I’m not wild about McCain, but if he’s all we’ve got, I’ll hold my nose and vote for him."). In Post #11, you complained about a list of Republican Presidents (not including Reagan) who were/are less than completely conservative (i.e. RINOs).
I took that to mean that you didn't favor the election of RINOs (as I don't).
Since it is general knowledge that the 2008 primary season has left us with a RINO as the likely Republican nominee, I took your spouting off against a list of RINO Presidents as an indication that you didn't favor the election of McCain. I simply listed the alternative Democrats as a way of showing - by direct comparison - that there are worse things than holding one's nose and voting for a RINO.
How on Earth you took it the way you did, I don't know. I, too, am frustrated as Hell with the choice we have. I'd a least have expected a civilized response.
