John McCain is supposed to be the presidential candidate best equipped to tackle what he calls “the transcendent challenge of our time: the threat of radical Islamic terrorism.” His speech yesterday to the LA World Affairs Council demonstrates, however, that McCain doesn’t get it....

The RATs have a nerve complaining about Operation Chaos when they gave us John McCain.
So is Obama. We now hear that Obama's foreign policy will not be based on fear of terrorism, but on "dignity promotion." We will restore dignity (whatever that means) to the people that hate us. Then they won't hate us anymore and we will all live in peace. Right.
We have two choices. McCain is the less dangerous one.

Obama is a Chicago politician. He is the paragon of sleaze, he just hides it better.
Do you know how he became a state senator? He was not actually elected in a competitive race. He got all the other candidates disqualified.
You think his land deal with Rezko smells perfectly fine? You think he wrote a honest autobiography, not a fabricated one to advance his political career? You think he has a history to support his claim that he is a uniter?
If the answer is yes, we'll have to agree to disagree. I find him to be nothing more than a con man.
The point is that Obama wants to dismantle our national defense. McCain wants to enhance it.
The only faint glimmer of hope for America is that McCain picks a decent running mate and then ol’ Captain Queeg has a complete, public. incapacitating mental collapse.
No, THINK IT THROUGH. McCain is the MORE dangerous one because he will adopt Liberal policies and leave Republicans holding the bag; that would do huge, long-term damage to Republican identity and SHIELD the Democrat party from any part of blame or accountability.
McCain is the more dangerous one because he will be opposed by FEWER politicians, right and left, than Obama or Hillary would be. McCain is the more dangerous one because he may usher in eight years of Republican Liberalism and destroy any identity of conservatism within the Republican party, where Obama or Hillary would very probably have only one short, disasterous term that left the Democrat party fractured and in shambles before being booted out by angry voters. Democrats can support McCain at ZERO political risk to themselves, and Republicans can only oppose him at a huge price to party morale and party image.
Obama or Hillary, either one, would be paper tigers with regard to implementing their own policies. They would be controversial, they'd cause more Republicans to be elected to Congress, and they'd be opposed vehemently by large groups of people within their own party AS WELL as Republicans and conservatives.
Truly, it is short-sighted to think that McCain would be better for Republicans and the U.S.A. than Obama or Hillary. The consequences of Obama or Hillary would be bitter and ugly for the U.S.A., that is true. But the consequences of McCain would be WORSE and longer-lasting and would virtually destroy any hope for the future of the Republican party.
In terms of calculated risk, a president Obama or Hillary offer pretty good odds of bringing about good things for Republicans in the long run. McCain, on the other hand, is a SURE LOSER for the Republican party and the U.S.A. Electing a sure loser is a poor path to "victory." Voting for McCain is as smart as betting on a three-legged horse in a field where all the other horses have four legs.
I am not disagreeing with you. We have three awful candidates.

How do we know that the “moderates” are the one who will get the scholarships? Because they say they are moderate? Mohammed Atta had been a graduate student in architecture in Hamburg, Germany just prior to 9-11.
