Bringing Sandra Bullock on stage to announce the final award, Gervais said, “Our next presenter starred in Netflix’s ‘Bird Box,’ a movie where people survive by acting like they don’t see a thing. Sort of like working for Harvey Weinstein.” After the crowd erupted in boos, Gervais replied, “You did it! I didn’t, you did it!”

YouTube has banned people from posting videos of dangerous pranks, following a series of challenges inspired by the Netflix film Bird Box. These challenges involved performing tasks blindfolded - including driving a car, running and even a tattoo artist working on a client while driving. One US teenager crashed her vehicle after pulling her hat over her eyes and driving towards oncoming traffic in the name of the so-called 'Bird Box Challenge'. Youtube have already forbid content containing dangerous activities but have now revealed new policies on videos that put people in danger.

A bird box resembling a traffic camera has put the brakes on speeding motorists racing through a village. Retired police officer Bill Angus placed the box on a pole at the edge of his property in order, he says, to offer a little help to the local birdlife.
