It's one thing for your average, secular liberal not to know the New Testament. But for the Reverend Al Sharpton not to know better? On his MSNBC show this evening, Sharpton showed Michelle Bachmann, after making the case for self-reliance, saying "if anyone will not work, neither shall they eat." Even this NewsBuster, who is anything but expert in the area, realized that Bachman was quoting Scripture to the effect that people who are unwilling--not unable--to work don't deserve support. But Sharpton incredibly claimed Bachmann meant that "if you don't have work, you should starve." View the video here.

Family Research Council (FRC) and other pro-life groups have obtained a copy of a 2002 letter [PDF] in which notorious late-term abortionist George Tiller claims that...

So by now we're pretty much all familiar with Ms. California's response to Perez Hilton's question at the Miss USA Pageant the other night, she just doesn't believe in "opposite marriage," (no offense to the gays) This ain't cool with Miley, and she's going to let the world know.mileycyrus: I'm sad that people use god and religion as an excuse 2 hate, discriminate and deny gays and lesbians equality under the law Later when Perez Hilton asked her to make a specific stand Miley replied with: 'I believe everyone has the right to be happy, that's all i'm saying' Mock...

Since I am approaching my one year anniversary of being a "freeper" and since I have never contributed a dime to FR, jim or the republican party, I am going to beat the powers to be at FR and voluntarily leave, rather than have them come up with one of the cock and bull stories to ban me. Been fun,Bye
