Only the bitterest of partisans would have said this, as did Ratner, of Mrs. Alito's very public distress at her husband's treatment at the hands of Senate Dems: "Washington is a tough game. On "Late Edition" with Wolf Blitzer, our National Security Advisor Condi Rice was giving an excellent interview, explaining why it was North Korea who complicated the situation concerning nuclear weapons, not the U.S. (all of the pieces fell into place BEFORE Bush's "Axis of Evil" speech). At the end of the interview, Wolf asked her about Harry Bellafonte's comments on Powell and herself, and played the clip from Larry King Live.
