(IsraelNN.com) IDF Southern District Commander Major-General Dan Harel reports the counter-terrorism offensive in the Beit Lahiya area of northern Gaza was a success. A large IDF force escorted by armored vehicles was compelled to enter the PA autonomous area in an effort to bring an end to increasing rocket attacks against Jewish communities. Palestinians report that five people were killed and 13 others wounded in clashes with IDF troops, which entered the town of Beit Lahiya in the north Gaza Strip early Wednesday.
