Jennifer Beeman, the former UC Davis employee who oversaw the Campus Violence Prevention Program for 16 years, was arrested today on suspicion of embezzling public funds and committing eight other felonies related to misusing public money. Investigators believe Beeman embezzled between $2,000 and $13,000, according to a statement from UC Davis.
