Jennifer Beeman, the former UC Davis employee who oversaw the Campus Violence Prevention Program for 16 years, was arrested today on suspicion of embezzling public funds and committing eight other felonies related to misusing public money.
Investigators believe Beeman embezzled between $2,000 and $13,000, according to a statement from UC Davis. In addition, UC Davis returned more than $100,000 to the U.S. Department of Justice after determining that unallowable expenses had been charged to a violence prevention grant Beeman administered.
. . . Beeman had falsely inflated the number of forcible sex offenses that took place on campus in 2005, 2006 and 2007 in reports required by federal law.

The article doesn’t say, but is there a connection between her embezzlement of money from the program, and her inflation of incidents in the report she filed to the government?
Were they getting grants based on the number of incidents reported (thereby indicating a greater need for a program)?
Poor reporting but typical of today's so called journalists. I would imagine there is a correlation, those were my thoughts exactly when I read this even though it doesn't spell it out(as it should).
Response: One look reminds one that physiognomy still has value.
“Two guys broke into her apartment, she cried “Rape!”, and they both yelled, ‘NOOOOO!’” - Rodney Dangerfield
“Unless the proverbial “ten foot pole” was involved, no one in their right mind would touch her:”
She didn’t falsely claim that she was raped, it’s much more insidious than that. She was routinely inflating the number of sexual assaults on campus that she reported to the government, to further the feminists’ hate campaign against men.
Off-topic: I just noticed when I went to the site that the Sacramento Bee now has a “Marijuana” section, listed at the top alongside Business, Local, Obituaries, etc. Hilarious.
About 1 for every 10,000 residents.
Of course, they are everywhere in CA...everywhere. More dispensaries than Starbucks.
Guilty.
