CORPUS CHRISTI — Jail officials have discovered a woman sentenced to 30 years in prison for nearly starving her 3-year-old son to death is pregnant, her attorney confirmed Monday. Villarreal, 29, was sentenced to 30 years in prison last week. Alma Villarreal, 29, is appealing the sentence handed down Friday by a Nueces County jury.
