A witness said it was a black Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van that went up in flames after the explosion on 23rd Street South in Arlington, Virginia. The cause of the explosion is unknown but nearby buildings did not catch fire. The smoke could be seen from the other side of the city in the northeast suburbs. More to come.
