A social media battle between two of the House’s biggest stars is putting a focus on whether it’s OK to loan a gun to a friend. Rep. Dan Crenshaw's (R-Texas) statement about loaning a gun sparked an incredulous response from Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), who could hardly believe someone would think of the possibility. AOC TWEET: "You are a member of Congress. Why are you “lending” guns to people unsupervised who can’t pass a basic background check? The people you’re giving a gun to have likely abused their spouse or have a violent criminal record, & you may not know...

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) retweeted a video showing the extent of the damage already caused by Hurricane Dorian as it ravaged the Bahamas over the past few days. In her post, the freshman lawmaker writes that the video “is what climate change looks like; it hits vulnerable communities first.” “I can already hear climate deniers screeching: “It’s always been like this! You’re dim,” etc,” she wrote. “No. This is about science & leadership. We either decarbonize&cut emissions, or we don’t & let people die.” The minute-long video showed flyover shots of Abaco in the Bahamas with the pilot pointing out...

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., on Wednesday called out a Republican congressman who complained that implementing stricter gun laws would prevent him from letting friends borrow his handgun. Rep. Communist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY) on Wednesday lectured Congressman Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) on how to handle firearms. Dan Crenshaw served as a Navy SEAL for 10 years including 5 tours of duty in the Middle East and South Korea. Crenshaw lost his right eye in 2012 after an IED detonated near him in Afghanistan. But the 29-year-old bartender knows more about firearms and the 2nd Amendment than Crenshaw. Crenshaw defended the 2nd Amendment on Tuesday after yet another story about an armed woman who defended herself from five men who tried to rob her.

Catalina Lauf is 26-years-old and running for Congress in Illinois, hoping to unseat a Democrat incumbent and push aside Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as the youngest woman ever to be elected to Congress. Kyle S. Reyes of Law Enforcement Today writes: She’s a young Latina. She’s from Illinois. She’s running for Congress. And she’s the polar opposite of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. She’s conservative. She’s smart. She’s gorgeous. She supports law enforcement. She actually loves America. Her idol is Ronald Reagan. And she’s not afraid to ruffle feathers. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez mocked Boston's 'Straight Pride Parade,' suggesting it should've been called an 'I-Struggle-With-Masculinity' parade due its lack of ability to draw women to the march.

According to a recent poll, the politics of Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar are hurting the Democratic Party. The poll reveals an overwhelming majority of voters disapprove of the controversial House members who some say have been the face of the party since their election late last year. Conservative media outlets suggest the lawmakers' unpopularity could cost the Democratic Party not only its reign in the House of Representatives, but also blow its chance of taking over the White House in the 2020 election. “A new internal Democratic Party survey polling voter sentiment in crucial swing states revealed that...

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) released a series of Green New Deal art posters Friday through her Twitter account in an attempt to promote her unpopular Green New Deal plan. Of the two cartoon-style posters highlighted by the freshman New York congresswoman, feature two historic monuments in New York City: the Bronx’s Victory Memorial in Pelham Bay Park and the Unisphere globe sculpture located in Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens.

Rep. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) knows how to use social media. We all know that. I mean give credit where credit is due. She knows how to engage with that audience, which so happens to be very concerned about global warming. If it’s not ranting about white guys wearing sombreros, white women serving burritos, health care, college debt, or any off-shoot of the political correctness realm—global warming is the next action item on the liberal whine-fest. AOC is the starting quarterback for the Green New Deal, a multi-trillion-dollar project that seeks to pretty much destroy the American economy. With a price...

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who proposed “Green New Deal” climate change legislation, warned that melting glaciers could release ancient diseases that the modern world is incapable of handling. The first-term Democrat from New York said she woke up while on vacation at 3:30 in the morning worried about the consequences of climate change. “I’m 29 years old, I really struggle sometimes with the idea of how to be a policymaker, and potentially have a family in the time of climate change,” she said on Instagram live Tuesday, listing a number of impending environmental catastrophes like melting glaciers and rising sea levels....

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is back from vacation which means her modern-day fireside chats via Instagram Live are back in action. With these online townhall comes a bevy of asinine and concerning statements coming from the freshman Congresswoman's kitchen. Ryan Saavedra of the Daily Wire captured much of her comments from Tuesday night's showing. AOC says she had a rather stressful vacation due to one major issue she is most concerned about -- climate change (also known as global warming before predictions made by Al Gore didn't exactly pan out). "Even when I was on vacation, I woke up in the...

Sandy from the Bronx took to Instagram last night while making mac and cheese and warned the planet could be overcome by ancient diseases, sun scorching, and starvation if the United States does not overhaul its entire economy.“There are a lot of diseases that are frozen in some of these glaciers that scientists fear that there is a potential that a lot of diseases could escape these melted glaciers. Things that were frozen for thousands of years, and that they’re going to get into our water, and that humans could contract them, and there are going to be diseases that...

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has found a new enemy: The Electoral College. The freshman Democrat appears to be taking a break from defending her anti-Semitic colleagues, pushing the Green New Scam, and other socialist policies to bash an institution that’s become the latest subject of rage for Democrats who simply cannot let the 2016 election go. In our history, there have only been five times where the winner has won the Electoral College but lost the popular vote. And yet, we’re still here. And let’s use the word “lost” loosely for 2016; Clinton didn’t break 50 percent in that category...

It began calmly enough. But as the Aug. 8 meeting of the Bronx Democratic County Committee progressed, a rift between members became apparent. In fact, several committee members argued later that the East Bronx meeting to fix what’s wrong with the BDCC put the problems of the political operation on full display. In the end, the committee approved a slate of changes proponents said would make the county Democrats’ processes and structure more accessible to members. It was the result of efforts that came to a head last September when a number of progressives, having their lineup of leadership nominees...
